I went for an oil change it was done within 45 mins like I was advised. I was not recommend for any extra service, which was nice. I just went to another place just last week for hole in tire and they tried scamming me with 1500 of services. It’s refreshing to come to a place that's honest, the guy at the front told…

Called to schedule an oil change and Midas got me in 30 minutes later. Upon checking in, staff asked if I also want my tires rotated for free. They promptly did the oil change and tire rotation without a long wait for me. I was out and driving again in less than an hour - great experience!

Friendly and quick service! Let me know what was going on and didn’t service things I didn’t want to. I’d come again!
Best service for my vehicle I've ever experienced. I'm a single mom with a one car household, Dave (manager who was running the the front desk), was honest and didn't just try to sell me products and service. I got my oil changed and had an inquiry about a check engine light. Even though it was not good news about…

Always good, I have visited Midas a few times and they just get me in for what I want and they may ask if I want anything else but they aren’t viscerally shoving down my throat these “things” I should do for my car. So not bad.
Great service and fast
My battery light came on and I got in immediately. They were very helpful and walked me through each repair. We joked a lot about it and I was already approved for the financing. I will return for each repairs on my car.
I called Midas before I stopped in and the manager Codey Powell greeted me by name when I walked in. Got us in early and did a very thorough job and we were very satisfied
Nate and the guys had me in and out for an oil change. They take care of veterans with a discount and it was good to have a little convo while I attacked a sandwich. Nate is a family man and salt of the earth. New management and staff are a good fit for the Midas brand. I look forward to seeing consistent service and leadership.

James has been super helpful and made the process quick and painless!
Very professional and courteous company. Will be back for sure.
Everyone was super friendly from the moment I walked in. James and the team were all helpful and worked quickly.
Great customer service and very friendly
James Sims was very kind and helpful with my wife and I as new customers and applied coupons for us that we didn’t have, which he didn’t need to do. The oil change went smoothly, and the inspection pointed out a few issues, but they didn’t try to charge us for anything we didn’t need. Overall a very good experience…
James was awesome!! Very helpful and good at explaining what they are doing as well as future repairs!
Midas definitely deserves all the business in the world. I just moved to Iowa and have never heard of Midas. I have been to so many places that have ripped me off. But James was absolutely amazing at reassuring me he would make sure to get me taken care of. I didn't have an appointment and he was nice of enough to…
The store manager was very honest and pleasant to work with. He gave me options and I never felt pressured into purchasing a service I couldn't afford. Thanks for being a great member of this community!
Very professional and great service!
Very professional, kind and courteous
Very friendly and we're able to get me in the same day I called.
Store Manager Sims has great customer service. Walked in and he got me signed in and got right to the repairs. Much appreciated 👍🏽
I wouldn't go here if I were you. 2 weeks after I got an oil change my engine siezed. Cost me 13,000 to fix. These are kids with little to no training on how to work on a vehicle. STAY AWAY
James is a saint. He discovered problems my dealership who had seen my vehicle 2 weeks prior did not mention , and visually showed me the issues so I could see them first hand. Will not go anywhere else from now on.
James is extremely nice and helped me pick out which oil change and explained what they do with it. He also gave me a discount!
I have been going to Midas for a few years. Mostly oil changes, but have had some other work done. They are always good about explaining any recommended work thoroughly especially if I ask about any of it, and the manager James is serious about customer service. Never feel like I am being taken advantage of unlike when I go to Tuffies down the street.
Such great customer care and wonderful speedy service
Staff was friendly and professional. They made sure I was satisfied with the service before I left. The only downfall of this location is the lack of parking.
In and out service, never I’ve never had any issues with their work at this establishment.
Hubby took my car in to get an oil change, James got him checked in and taken care with little to no wait. Will definitely be back excellent service all the way around to the whole team !!
The Front desk receptionist was very helpful
Quick and fair priced. Also, great customer service!
Thorough, professional, sociable and friendly.
Excellent all around!
I had a big service interval that I needed done, and I wasn't happy with the quote and scheduling the dealership proposed. I contacted James at Midas, and they took great care of me! The work was a little more than I anticipated, but he took the time to go through each item, recommendations on which levels of…
Great service! They got me in and out as scheduled and gave me a quote with recommendations based on the severity, without any pressure to "do it now". Thanks!
Amazing service, friendly smile when you walk in the doors. S/o to James for helping today you were very helpful!
Made my appointment and as soon as I got there they went straight to work. Inspected my car fully and found some kinks but were very honest about if it needed immediate attention or not…I would def recommend coming here! In and out in less than 35 minutes! Make your appointment!!
James was very polite and was customer service focused.
We have been to this Midas many times. The store manager James is great to work with!
Super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!
Getting an appointment was quick and easy, the staff is amazingly friendly, they get you back on the road pretty quickly! No pressure from the staff to fix issues found unless it's major, that was a relief! All around a great experience and will be bringing my Jeep back!
James was super helpful, and it was the quickest oil change I've ever had done in Cedar Rapids! A+
Westen was amazing very professional shop will definitely return
Professional , friendly staff. Made an online appointment out of hours and was contacted as soon as the store opened. Military friendly.
They did an awesome job educating me on up keep on my car (a female who knows not a single thing about cars) they didn’t make me feel dumb or stupid about it. Highly recommend. Great prices and friendly staff.
Definitely overpaid in all areas, got an oil and air filter change which added up to almost $140. Ridiculously high price.
Great service Ron seems like a good fit
Great place to get work done on a vehicle. Honest and straightforward feedback
Weston and the guys at this location were extremely helpful and straightforward. Thank you again for all that you did for us to get our car up and moving again.
I enjoyed the ease of scheduling completely online and the quick oil change (which was $38.51 after fees and tax) on a Saturday. For any more extensive repairs, the prices are not cheap being a chain business - I was quoted $810 before fees and tax to replace my tie rod ends, one ball joint, and do a 5-year…
Came in for an oil change that lasted 1.5 hours. Had a 20 dollar off coupon but once they tacked on all the extra fees not included in the oil change it was still the listed price. On top of all of that they said I needed new filters and new back struts. “Your struts are leaking” is what I was told. Took it to my…
Go anyplace but here!
Ty is AWESOME! Fast service, and very informative! Highly recommend!
A great go to place for regular maintenance.
I have been taking my car to the team at Midas - 1st Ave NE for a few years now. They are dependable and don’t try to add extra repairs to the bill. I had a potential transmission issue and they were able to pin point the problem, which was not transmission related at all. I would highly recommend their services. Highly experienced mechanics!
Very friendly, very professional, very honest. Will be coming back.
Went to get my oil changed and left with them telling me I need almost $4000 of work done to my car, including new tires which I just got a year ago and haven't even driven 10,000 miles on. This is a place that tries to take advantage of customers and squeeze every last penny out of them
Willye is always helpful when I go in to have my car serviced. He explains everything thing that needs to be done. He also remembers me when I return to have my vehicle serviced.Willye's customer service is awesome. I appreciate everything the team does to keep my car on the road.
1st time coming here. Been super busy and couldn't get my car in anywhere for an oil change during the week but didn't need the car all weekend. The manager Tyler said they could work me in between appointments if I dropped it off all day. They had it done in about 3 hours, on the same day I called, with no…
Wiley is a professional and honest mechanic. Hard to find in Cedar Rapids. Had the brakes done and they are great. Had an oil change this last time as well and there was a small issue after the work. These guys took care of the problem immediately. Really stand behind their work.
Love the service I get there. Very polite and caring people.
Good experience. They were quick, easy, and professional. They did what I needed, and they did it well.
Midas I took my 2015 Subaru in for a $78 oil change @Midas My oil change was done incorrectly and now I’m left with a $3200 bill that midas is trying to fight me on. I went into the store where I got the oil change 2602 Williams BLVD and was given a free oil change. Within minutes my engine light was on. I took it…
