I had water coming in to my basement and was very pleased with the work Midstate Basement Authorities did to stop the water from coming into my basement. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for help with their basement.
Had a basement window replaced on older home. Looks great, would use again for next one
The person that done the estimate lied and said he can elevate floors in the house. House floors is still unlevel. Left screws missing in jackstands. The blueprint did not match the work that was done.
My dehumidifier location was challenging, and the Midstate installers worked with me to get it just right, even when that required moving it after the initial try. I really appreciate their patience and creativity to deal with my old house!
Amazing from start to finish. Antonya got back to me ASAP after submitting a request. She also kept me up to date on when materials would be delivered. Bill came out to inspect the issue, was very personable, and answered all my questions. He also took the time to ask questions and understand where the issue may be…
Efficient, quality work. This is the second time that I have used them and no complaints My basement is now dry. I highly recommend them.

Our team completed the project as outlined in the contract, which clearly states that while we aim to improve uneven conditions, perfectly level floors cannot be guaranteed due to structural limitations in many homes. Despite this, the flooring conditions were significantly improved, and the scope of work was fulfilled. This matter was reviewed through formal arbitration, and the ruling found that we met our contractual obligations. Regarding the mention of missing screws in the jack stands — this is the first we’re hearing of this issue, as it was never brought to our attention during or after the project. Had we been made aware, we would have gladly addressed it immediately. We remain committed to transparency and quality work. We encourage open communication so that any concerns can be resolved directly and promptly.

He did a great job of explaining what needed to be fixed and how it was done. I have not had a lot of luck with companies since moving to Binghamton, but Midstate was great throughout the entire process. I will definitely call them for any issues in the future and recommend anyone having basement issues to do the same.

MidState installed a drainage system in my basement. The crew was quick professional and they left the area cleaner than when they started. They were very willing to send lots of pictures and give alot of updates which I found very helpful because I was not in the area while most of the work was being done. I will absolutely work with them again in the future.

Honest place! Bill from Midstate Basement came out to inspect my foundation because I had a leak in my basement. I had been told (incorrectly) by a plumber that the leak was not plumbing related and was the foundation. Bill quickly realized it was not a foundation issue, and instead found a leaking radiant-floor pipe that the plumber had missed. Bill then connected me with a plumber who fixed the problem that day. In addition to his honesty, Bill amazingly refused to charge me for his time and expertise, even though I insisted he do so.

I don't usually leave reviews but in this occasion it is totally merited. I had Mid-State come to my house after a nightmare with another company and I can say with ease it was night and day. Charlie was very serious and kept his word on everything discussed and his crew did a great job to the point that we didn't hear anymore of the loud cracking on night one. They passed inspection and everything went smoothly. We are only on day two but are totally satisfied and would recommend them to any of my family and friends. Thank you Charlie and crew!
