Diagnosis fee is well worth the fee and the added information.
Cody is very transparent and fair in his assessment, and prices are competitive, honest in what he can guarantee and what he cannot going forward.
I opted not do the repair needed at this time, but I will have Cody do the work when I move forward.
Very easy to work with.
Was able to pay after hours and options to use your checking account, credit cards, or possible finance options.
UPDATE:
After he did some work on brothers truck and my brother felt some of the standard services were exceptionally high and questioned some diagnostic and repair quotes.
I took my truck somewhere else paid another diagnostic fee of $200.00.
AFTER Cody had charged me $260.00.
Cody's diagnosis was spot on to 2 other shops.
His diagnosis was way off.
Truck was repaired at the other place and has run great for 2 months now.
So be advised that $ 250.00 plus dollar diagnosis is just money I am out.
Pretty upset that it seems like some of these shops are now just hammering customers for a diagnostic fee and figuring they won't come back.

I highly recommend Mr. B’s Automotive. Cody is hands down one of the most professional, honest, fair, and transparent mechanics I’ve ever worked with. Maintaining a good rating for a business is difficult, but a mechanic business I would imagine is more so.
He worked on both of my vehicles, my Subaru Outback and Ford Ranger, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. His pricing was very competitive, he was upfront about what needed to be done, and the turnaround time was incredibly fast.
Cody is an ASE Certified Master Mechanic, and his knowledge and experience are immediately apparent. He does quality work, communicates clearly, and treats his customers fairly. There was never any pressure or unnecessary upselling, just straightforward recommendations and excellent service.
Finding a mechanic you can genuinely trust is not always easy, but Cody earned my trust for working on my family's vehicles. Mr. B’s Automotive will likely be my first call whenever I need work done in the future.
