I thought I had done thorough research on Nexus, but looking back, the reviews were vague about the specific services provided. Cody, the owner, was very eager to secure my business for a new driveway installation, but I would not recommend them. Just 3 months after installation, numerous areas started crumbling. When I reached to Cody he claimed the mix had cooled down during installation and suggested that sealcoating would stop the deterioration and hide the imperfections. The driveway isn't even a year old and hasn't fully cured. Although he gives you a warranty, this is only as good as the people behind the warranty, they still did not fix the problem. He’s great at communicating when he wants new business but poor when you have an issue. I have been trying for 2 months to talk with him and he does not respond.
Based on his original response and now lack of response as to why a new driveway is deteriorating in areas suggest Nexus lacks the proper equipment for larger jobs and can't maintain material temperature if the job is far from the plant. Furthermore, the cleanup was poorly handled, the edges are very uneven it looks unprofessional and there is discarded asphalt all over the sides. The overall appearance is very disappointing. They may be fine for sealcoating, but I would not hire them for a new driveway.

**UPDATE — 15 MONTHS LATER**
Unfortunately, I need to update my review. While the original installation looked fantastic, the sealcoat has not held up as I expected.
Nexus originally told me they use the best sealer available, and in response to my recent photos, they said I know how it is. Everything is made to fail nowadays . I waited approximately three years before sealing the driveway as recommended. I have not used additives, had it plowed, or salted it. After only 15 months, there is significant deterioration in the coating.
I recently sent updated photos and was told the driveway is too smooth for the sealer to properly adhere and that they did not see any failure in the photos. That was disappointing to hear, especially after previously being told that waiting for the oil to escape would provide an even finish.
They said they **might be willing to offer a small discount** to come back and reseal it, I’m not interested in paying for a product a second time when it won’t last
I was very happy with the installation initially, which is why I left the original five-star review. Unfortunately, the durability of the product and the response to my concerns have changed my opinion.
The guys at Nexus did a fantastic job on my driveway. They didn’t over sell me on products or add-on services. Extremely competitive pricing.
Their communication was absolutely incredible, let me know what to expect right from the start when to expect them and what would be done.
Best of all, once on my job, they took their time applying the seal coat No splash back, no seal coat on any other surface than where it should be. Clean, crisp job.
Highly recommend!

Nexus’s price was reasonable, not the cheapest or most expensive, but their 5 year warranty and awesome customer service stood out so I chose them. Very happy with how quickly they worked and how the new driveway came out. I had some pretty bad drainage issues they corrected and the new driveway is noticeably thicker than the old one was.
