Mike and his team did a fantastic job of redeveloping my yard into a much more user friendly space. They came in with a fresh design that we weren't even thinking of and it works perfectly. I am beyond pleased with the service I received from North Shore Home Builders! Mike was extremely helpful and integral in helping me and my family figure out our dream home. We didn’t even know where to begin and the advice and insight provided through North Shore Home Builders made the entire process a breeze. I…
We had an incredible experience working with North Shore Home Builders on our major home renovation and rebuild. From demolition through construction and all the finishing details, Mike, Joe, Ben, Adam, Tim and the entire team were exceptional.
Communication was clear, frequent, and honest. We always knew what was happening, what was coming next, and what to expect. Their app made it incredibly easy to follow the progress, and we never felt like we had to chase anyone down for answers or updates. Even when unexpected issues with our kitchen cabinet vendor created significant setbacks, the delays were communicated clearly and thoughtfully planned for. In the end, we moved back in only about a week later than originally anticipated—which is remarkable given the size of the project, the challenges that arose and the additional out-of-scope requests that we made.
What truly set the NSHB team apart was how much they cared—not only about our home, but about our family and how we were feeling throughout the process. Their team laughed with us, supported us, and guided us through every decision and unexpected challenge. They made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable, collaborative, and even fun. By the end, they truly felt like family.
Their craftsmanship is second to none, particularly when it came to the finishing details and special requests that mattered so much to us. They brought our vision to life and made our house feel like our forever home.
Now that the project is complete, we genuinely miss talking to them every day! We will always be grateful that we chose North Shore Home Builders and cannot recommend them highly enough.

We’re thrilled Mike, Joe, Ben, Adam, Tim and the whole team made the renovation feel manageable, communicative and even fun, and that our app and planning helped keep you informed despite the cabinet setback. We miss working with you too and truly appreciate your high recommendation.

Working with Build North Shore to finish our basement was an incredible experience from start to finish. They flawlessly transformed our previously unfinished and unused space, creating a beautiful and highly functional extension of our home. Joe and Ben, our project managers, were outstanding—communicative, transparent, and truly masters of their craft, offering their knowledge and expertise at every step. Their attention to detail and commitment to our project made us feel like a top priority, regardless of how many other jobs they had going on simultaneously. Every member of their extended team who entered our home to complete work was respectful, noninvasive, and efficient. Mike, the owner and CEO of NSHB, has built an exceptional team, setting the bar incredibly high for any other building companies in the area. We couldn’t be happier with the process and the final result—and we already know who we’ll be calling for our next project. Whether the job is large or small, there is truly no one else we’ll be working with moving forward.

Mike and his team did a fantastic job of redeveloping my yard into a much more user friendly space. They came in with a fresh design that we weren't even thinking of and it works perfectly. The access to the space wasn't easy as I live in a congested neighborhood , but even with the obstacles in place, they were able to rebuild the stairs off the back of my house, repave my entire backyard, and build a retaining wall with access to the back gate, which is 6 feet higher than my yard.

Having just completed an home maintenance and repair project with North Shore Home Builder’s we couldn’t have been more pleased.
These guys check all the boxes. Led by Michael Buonfiglio. We had a wide variety of projects to complete from tree removal to replacing a nearly 100 year old wooden garage doors, as well as replacing gutters and downspouts, power washing the house and a whole lot of painting.
I was concerned weather one company could handle it all. NSHB was up to the challenge. The project with multiple jobs and contractors went like dream. Communication and coordination was the key and as I found out this was just one of skills that NSHB excelled at.
The biggest challenge was the garage doors. Michael recommend one of his skilled craftsmen to do the job. He did an a amazing job, way beyond our expectations my wife and I were thrilled with the results.
If you are in need of a full service contractor you can trust that’s on time and on budget with most skilled team of contractors, I highly recommend North Shore Home Builder’s, you will not be disappointed!

I was so impressed with their proactive communication and how reliable they were. I’ve had previous jobs where contractors say they’ll come and then they don’t show up until days later but this process was much different. The team walked me through each step and created a beautiful new living space in my home! I highly recommend them for your next project!
