The location I went to was fine. I think my experience weighed heavily on the fact that my PT seemed to hate her job and just not like people in general. Or at least not want to engage in conversation. The massaging and pushing on areas to locate pain was so soft that i thought maybe she didn’t want to touch me.…

I started going to Novacare Erie South for a shoulder injury in the beginning of August. I’m still in recovery here, but it’s been a wonderful 2-3 months so far. I’ve worked with Dejae’, Vanessa, Trevor, Rosie, and am primarily with Chris. Amanda is the only one I have not had the pleasure to work with yet. All the therapists here are spectacular. They all are able to step in and help each other due to their surplus of knowledge and experience. They also genuinely care about their patients and their wellbeing. The first thing they ask is “How are you doing/feeling?” then “How was your weekend.” They are very personable and easy to get along with. I also like that they always make sure the form is right when doing certain exercises. Then, they explain the importance of each exercise and movement. This has helped me beyond just shoulder exercises. I find myself straightening my posture and lifting/moving things with extra attention to my form. I actually look forward to my sessions here each week. I have started to see genuine improvement in my shoulder and am able to do some things on my own now at the gym or at home, However, I will miss coming here when the time comes. The environment is very welcoming and friendly. I am already thinking about how much I’ll miss seeing the therapists, making jokes, and working toward bettering myself with the support I receive at NovaCare Erie South.

Overall it was awkward, not any more helpful than remedies at home and just uncomfortable.

I walked in to the clinic to a vast, clean therapy area. My therapist started assessing my reason for therapy and explaining how they would approach the affected region. Every movement and exercise is explained so you know what they are going to do and why. I feel that my continued care here will certainly be positive toward a positive conclusion.
