Nurtured Roots planted my small fenced garden in a back alley. It is beautiful. I have had a summer full of flowers and pollinators. I highly recommend them if you’re interested in a perennial and native garden.
Highly recommend Nurtured Roots! We had a very sad looking parkway and they've totally transformed it into a lush, dynamic haven for native plants and pollinators. The team is super kind, professional and easy to work with and we'll go straight to them with future projects.

Thank you, Janet! We love working with you.
Julia and her wonderful crew have beautified our garden for a couple years now. I trust them for the planning, the clean up and everything in between and for every season. Julia has the patience of a saint when brainstorming ideas yet also can just run with a project and nail it if you don’t have the faintest idea of what you really want. I lucked out finding Nurtured Roots by googling “women-owned, native gardens” after having some poor experiences with other landscapers and now I can confidently say I don’t need to search any further. Julia and her crew meet all our needs of designing, installing, maintenance and seasonal clean up and have the most friendliest attitudes as a bonus. They will teach you and let you work alongside them if you want to learn or they will do it all if you prefer to just walk out and have a beautiful garden appear. Seriously, you can’t do better than Nurtured Roots.
Thank you, Heidi. Love collaborating with you!
Wow, they did such a great job and we love our new landscaping.
Spectacular. Can't wait to have them back for the next project.

I hired Nurtured Roots to revamp my front garden, which had become totally overgrown with weeds. The result is a stunning garden, filled with flowers and grasses in a prairie style that I love! The NR team has been so helpful with garden care and weeding tips, always available to answer my questions, and they even came by to water while I was out of town for 2 weeks over the summer. My home now has one of the prettiest gardens on our block! Would definitely recommend working with Julia and Cela on your next garden project!
