Recently attended a wedding here and it was an all around GREAT time, the staff was amazing, food was perfect nothing but good things to say about ocean view of nahant !!
The venue is lovely! Being somewhat disabled and unable to climb stairs there was no elevator a lift it helps for 2ppl. There are no ladies rooms on the floor we were on. The restrooms were on the bottom floor..Yikes! Just keep this in mind should you want to have your event here. Can't beat the view and the place was very clean and the service was great!

Nice hall for wedding and receptions. Not design for large groups. Capacity I would say maybe 100 people. I was too keen with the food selection. It could be a little more organized.
Location is best, food is worst. I have wedding on Aug 30th (sunday morning) half of my guest not even have any bite of food and i paid $20k for 3.5hrs event. They serve “8 pieces” of grilled shrimp every 10mins for 120guests.
Went to Goddaughters Wedding here and it was amazing. The place is beautiful and the food was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was the best part and we had a beautiful day!

Our restrooms are located on our ground floor with most guests using the stairs for access, we do feature our ADA Lift which allows any guests who are unable to use the stairs to move from level to level. We hope this accommodation allowed you to enjoy the wedding while safety moving between the levels of our property. We look forward to hopefully having you back on property for a future event!

My thoughts to share on the venue we recently visited. Entering the view was classy displace of the character that was to come. While walking up the to the second floor right after entering and pasting great display of the bar area was stunning ocean view just over a deck area that added as some will say breathtaking touch, and the added well-kept interiors exuded character. While the decoration was tasteful, for the venue itself. Howver, it might limit a personal touch for ones own personal decor. Furthermore, the highlight was undoubtedly the food; the braised beef served at the wedding i was blessed to attend was exceptional, striking just the right balance, amd enhancing the night. Photo were missed but see is believing in the beauty of the venue. Overall, the venue is a fantastic choice that combines beauty, charm, and excellent cuisine. I believe it would be a wonderful option for any event for anyone!
Before I say anything else: if you are considering getting married at The Oceanview of Nahant, do yourself a favor and do not book their preferred DJ vendor, Pure Energy Entertainment. They completely mishandled our wedding reception and even ruined our first dance. The venue itself was incredible, but I would strongly encourage couples to find another DJ. Now, as for The Oceanview itself—our experience with the venue was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we booked until the end of our wedding night, the entire team was professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The venue is breathtaking, with stunning ocean views that created the most beautiful backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the location was. The food was outstanding, the drinks were excellent, and every detail was executed flawlessly. We received countless compliments from guests about the quality of the meal, the service, and the overall atmosphere. The real stars of the day were Chloe and Lydia. I truly cannot say enough good things about them. They were attentive, calm, organized, and always one step ahead. They handled everything behind the scenes so seamlessly that I never had to worry about setup, cleanup, moving décor, coordinating timelines, or managing vendors. They allowed me to be fully present and enjoy my wedding day instead of stressing about logistics. What impressed me most was how effortless they made everything feel. While I know an enormous amount of work was happening behind the scenes, I never felt burdened by any of it. Every transition was smooth, every detail was taken care of, and every question or concern was addressed immediately. That level of professionalism is priceless on your wedding day. If you’re looking for a venue with an incredible location, amazing food and drinks, and a staff that truly knows how to execute a wedding, The Oceanview is an excellent choice. Aside from our experience with the DJ company, our wedding was everything we dreamed of, and the venue played a huge role in that. Thank you to Chloe, Lydia, and the entire Oceanview team for making our day so special. We would choose The Oceanview again in a heartbeat.
