This was the best mechanic experience of my life!!! Meg was so kind and so helpful, and I loved how simple and communicative they've been throughout the process, and the service has been excellent. Highly highly recommend, only mechanic I will go to from now on!!!!
I took a used vehicle I purchased for a full diagnostic assessment while I had a 5-day return option. The team at Old Ox was professional and timely in their detailed review of all the vehicle components systems. The report included pictures, and detail on what was maintenance and safety concerns. I feel confident…
5 stars doesn't feel like enough for Old Ox Tire & Auto. I brought in my 2021 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid for an alignment and left genuinely impressed from start to finish. Shoutout to Paul, who was outstanding. Professional, efficient, and truly went above and beyond. But what really set this place apart was the…
Excellent service and customer service! Replaced wipers.
I went to them to get the car just checked in general. I loved how friendly they were and so accommodating. They showed me pictures, and explained the recommendations in simple terms. They answered all my questions as well. Car has been doing great! Highly recommend.
Lightning fast service for the of work I had done
I was very pleased with the service and reception I received from Old Ox Tire and Auto. I had a number of issues with my car and they were all addressed. They provided me with a comprehensive report detailing the status jf, and services needed for my car.
Big thank you to old ox and auto! Didn't try to upsell me on things, and just actually care about their customers. Special shoutout to Paul and Meg! I'll definitely be back
This shop did a full diagnostic on my car and changed my oil. Meg and Paul are super personable, funny, competent people. You can absolutely trust them to get whatever you need done. They are now considered my family mechanic for their quickness, thoroughness, and courtesy. Thank you Old Ox and Tire team for taking…
I was very pleasantly surprised to discover Old Ox Tire & Auto in the heart of Brookland. I’ve taken my car there twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. The communication and efficiency were outstanding throughout, with Meg doing a fantastic job keeping me informed every step of the way and making…
Meg is always the best! So kind and thorough. I love how I get an inspection report with every oil change at Old Ox. The report made me aware of a fluid leak that's now being taken care of for free by my car manufacturer due to it being under warranty. Meg was great at advising me on how to handle this leak. Paul…
The most honest advice you can get for your car’s needs is from this place. They offer fair prices, amazing customer service, and the fastest turnaround time for car repairs. They’re also very reliable.
I went for a pre-purchase inspection. Meg was the person I worked with to schedule and was very helpful. It was super straightforward with it taking about an hour and 20 min to do the inspection. Afterward, a technician went through the report line by line with me and shared a handy link with me that included the…
I am so happy I found Old Ox. Meg and the team are the best. They work on a variety of cars, and are honest when they’re not able to do a particular job. A huge plus is their Saturday availability which is such a rarity in the DC area. I highly recommend for all automotive services.
Shoutout to Meg and team at OOTA! Was referred by a friend and they have proved themselves to be reliable and honest. Made sure this mysterious gas smell in my 2021 Cherokee was nothing serious, and even did a follow up check at no cost. Grateful to have them as a resource! Would recommend to anyone.
Great team - very polite, professional, and efficient. They give you photographic proof of everything that is broken on the car, and photos of everything they check to show it’s ok. I will definitely be using them in the future.
Easy to schedule, easy to drop off, good service, easy to pay and easy to puck up. And pleasant. That's not always the case. So 5 thumbs up!
Honestly, these guys are great - we used them for our "three year" maintenance appointment, but we have so few miles on our hybrid that they were completely honest about the work we would and would not need. Had them check everything accordingly and we came away totally satisfied. Will absolutely be using them again…
