I gave a very challenging tassel dress to Onilda and the turnaround time was exactly what I needed. I am so grateful that she saw me on a Sunday and was able to work with my schedule. On top of that, her suggestions were great and the end result was beautiful! I’m sure working with a tassel dress like mine was not easy, but the dress now looks as if it was made for me, I’m so thankful 🙏
Le encargué a Onilda un vestido complicado y el tiempo de entrega fue justo lo que necesitaba. Le agradezco muchísimo que me atendiera un domingo y que pudiera adaptarse a mi horario. Además, sus sugerencias fueron geniales y el resultado final fue precioso. Seguro que trabajar con un vestido de borlas como el mío no fue fácil, pero ahora parece que fue hecho para mí, estoy encantada!
She helped us out a ton!! We went to another seamstress and she ruined our dresses but Onilda helped us sooo much! She even went out of her way and went the extra mile to fix the details that the other seamstress missed.
I brought my mothers dress to be altered so that I could also wear it on my wedding day. This is a dress from 30 years ago and she altered it perfectly! She treated the dress with care and even got it done quickly. Absolutely recommend her services!!
Onilda is the best! I can't rave enough about how she got me out of a jam. Had a funeral to go to, and went to look on my closet for one of a few suits I have. And nothing fit. Or had holes in them . Apparently, if you dont wear your suits regularly, the material starts wearing down. Who knew. Went and bought a new suit, and BEGGED Onilda to alter it on the fly. This amazing woman had me looking fresh the very next morning. I dont know if she charged me extra for the emergency work, but she deserves it. Highly recommend her. Side bar: El Bolillo is right next door. Grab a concha.

I had an amazing experience with Onlinda Modista Alterations! I was searching all over town for someone to hem my dress for a special event, and she was the only one open on a Sunday—such a lifesaver.
She took me in right away, measured me professionally, and had my dress ready before the expected time. The work she did was absolutely fabulous—my dress fit perfectly and looked beautiful. You can truly tell she takes pride in her craft and cares about her customers.
I went and had my pants hemmed here and she did absolutely amazing work. It looks like I just bought it at the store. She was super sweet and had a beautiful shop but check out these alterations for yourself I highly recommend.
