Orkin for general pest inspection
Clear ✕All 278 Google reviews tagged “General pest inspection”
Horrible. We called for treatment July 30, they sent someone out 10 days later. After two weeks since the treatment, tons of bugs? Scorpions, and they did not treat our mosquito infestation. Over 20 or so mosquitos a day in our guest bath and no treatment until after 2 more weeks when they sent an inspector after…
If I could give Orkin a ZERO I would. As you can see from my previous review (below), we have (now) used them for over 25 years at two different homes. I don’t know what has happened to them in the past couple of years, but we recently found out that we have been paying for a service we were not receiving (interior…
The techs that came were pleasant & professional. The scheduling system made an appointment without informing me. Luckily I was home and available.
Kyle with Orkin is great!!!
Took a few visits but the issue we were having is under control and Caitlin is FANTASTIC. With very thorough explanations of what they were doing, how to best maintain, tips on what NOT to do, very friendly and wants to help you...I couldn't ask for a better service person, thank you!
Cole was very friendly and took the time to fully inspect my home. Great service
If there is a problem Orkin will return at no additional charge.
Very courteous and on time
Brian does an excellent job keeping the bugs away.
Perfect Service, technician Kyle Spears is so professional and the best as Orkin representative!
The field technicians are always friendly and helpful.

Cole did a good job spraying for roaches and inspected both inside and outside of house.
Bryan and the other techs have done a great job keeping our property clean and safe.
My tech Kyle always does a very thorough, efficient job. Very pleased with the service.
Cole, the Orkin technician, has been servicing our properties for years. He is excellent. Very helpful & friendly. Always does a great job.
Brandon is a wonderful person and very knowledgeable.
James is very professional and responsive to my concerns. I highly recommend Orkin.
Same guy. Always keeps me informed. Always on time. Always asks questions & always does a good job. Friendly, polite, & personable.
Great professional service by a friendly, trained technician.
Great service. Very responsive and timely on appointments. Communication is done very well.
They have kept to the schedule and always confirm 5-7 days in advance. If at that time they are scheduled too early, they will quickly adjust to the date range I prefer. The current technician Bryan is very personable and engaged all of my questions. Good man. Also, I haven’t seen any bugs or stuff in a while.
Great technician Kyle, keeps the bugs in check!
Chris was so great at solving our pest problems. Not only did he address all the areas but went above and beyond in prevention measures. Excellent service!
James was great. He listened, he was professional and reviewed what he did. Great experience! Highly recommended!
Great service!
Cole is great. I receive text notifications to remind me of service due. I can schedule online. Texts are sent when he is on the way to my home and upon arrival. He is always on time and friendly. We do not have problems with bugs in our house, so his quarterly service seems to be working. He also inspects the exterior of our house with each visit.
Explained service. Spray black widows in a/c I was having a/c repaired
Gereat service!!!
Frequent billing problems. They switch your account between locations and your contracts are no longer honored.
Chris P was Very professional. I am still receiving excellent service with Orkin! I highly recommend!!
The Last Agent I spoke too over the telephone was the worst. Not sure why his customer service was below standards.
Cole is quick, friendly & professional!
Orkin has been a leading name in pest control for decades because they're good at what they do. I've been a customer for 5+ years and have no plans to change.
The Orkin team is responsive and attentive to our needs. They are also flexible in scheduling, though their automated reminders do not always catch up to schedule changes.
Fast and easy to set up!
Great personnel
They are always on time and very friendly and good quality
Very good service!!!
Our Orkin specialist did a thorough job of explaining the agreement, the job and answering questions we had. Happy with the service.
Technician was knowledgeable and friendly as usual. Glad to have him out taking care of the pests!
Extremely professional team and excellent services… we are very happy with their quality of work. Thank you so much!
Great communication, great service, punctual
Very professional. Got the job done in a timely manner. They weren’t able to inspect for hornets or get on the roof but I was told they would send someone over for a free home inspection. It’s been a few days and no one has called me. So that’s the only negative. But William was great.
I used to be with EcoGuardian and there company was bought out by Orkin. Normally I steer away from bigger companies to support the smaller ones, but I figured I would allow Orkin to show me if they could match the service level of Eco. I can gladly say that I have had nothing but great results with Orkin. Even…
I've been with Orkin for over 20 years and wouldn't recommend any other.
Johnathan was awesome. I was a nervous wreck. I didn't know what was biting me in my home. I hate bugs. Johnathan, came in and explained everything to me. He made me feel so much better. Thank you!
Didn’t show up. Hasn’t returned calls.
Excellent service by Kyle. Great employee & prefer Kyle to do my service.
The Orkin gentleman that came out was wonderful. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about explaining what he would be doing and what it would prevent.
Cole is our tech from Orkin and he is the best!! He is knowledgeable, polite and friendly, and goes above and beyond to help out with any Orkin ask. I highly recommend Orkin because of their service and personnel!
Great company, and James is very professional
Very professional treated inside and out
Still can not get schedule correct I have wanted last weekend of the month that I am do service every time the schedule changes to other week. This has happened again in July 2023. Correct this issue, or I may need to find a different vendor to take care of my service.
I pay for two homes to be serviced and the second home rarely gets serviced this last time I specifically asked for assistance with the spiders that were in the second home which my father lives in and the person who sprayed the main house, never showed up at my fathers and never sprayed his home and he and I even…
They are always professional, patient and on time! No more ants after two treatments! Will continue working with Orkin!
Orkin’s service was great; had mice in the attic and they came by and took care of it. Reese, the service tech, was professional and competent. I would highly recommend this for monthly pest control service!

Everyone I've interacted with via this orkin location has been friendly, informative, and respectful. I moved into a home ill maintain by the previous resident and we decided to have a complete check of the whole house by orkin. Following that check regular quarterly service and a termite treatment plan were all set…

Very Happy with the service
Chris provided excellent advice in identifying the causes of my problem and helpful suggestions for remediation measures.
First visit went great! Terry was very thorough in explaining details of the treatment and paperwork.
Highly recommend!
Manager, Chris Scadden provided excellent customer service! He thoroughly explained the pest control service and provided knowledgeable recommendations tailored to mosquitos. It has been a Summer invasion of these pesky insects that leave unfriendly body marks! Thank you Orkin for your excellent service!!!
Well done, professional
We don't have issues, but we want to make sure we don't have issues. I've used orkin for years, and they stand by their work, charge a fair price, and are always courteous.
The technician was prompt, professional, and polite. He took his time explaining the process and what to expect. Chris then proceeded to check every nook and cranny throughout the entire house, garage, outside, and around the property. After completing the inspection, he then gave me a thorough breakdown of his…
Our technician is always friendly and timely.
We've used Orkin for over 15 years for bimonthly inspections and outside perimeter treatments and we couldn't be happier. We have no issues with inside bugs or insects, and the technicians are always on time, friendly and thorough in their inspections. We keep our gates to our backyard locked because we have a dog,…
He showed up on time, told us what he was going to do and went right to work. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. We are more than pleased with Orkin.
They can no keep an appointment to save their life. They have rescheduled their own appointments almost every time they schedule them. I was using a company that was purchased by Orkin and it has gone down hill since.
These guys are all very professional and knowledgeable. We have had them out 2 or 3 times now and they have been very professional. They do a great job explaining what the critters are up to and what they are doing. They remembered our house and mentioned some of the issues they'd seen last time they were here had…
Came out to house spent less than 30 minutes. Had to call them back to get rid of spider eggs off front porch. Still left some spider eggs. Not happy with the service. Now I will look for another pest control service that will do the job right.
My technician Terry was so amazing. He was informative and patient. She walked me through the whole inspection process and answered all my questions. I was able to book my appointment and get the service within 2 days. Price was surprisingly GREAT for the service. I would absolutely recommend and plan to continue my…
Told him about a couple issues, and he checked them out. There are 3 of us in one townhouse that all have different service dates. We are on Wilkins Way in Plano. Now especially, considering the price of gas, we do not understand this. My service today, actually paid for his gas when he filled up this morning. If…
Tyler was very professional and Informative.
Technician was on time, professional & informative. However, when I got my invoice, they increased their price without notifying me. I will be looking for a less expensive company. So many options these days for pest control.
Great and friendly service
I have used Orkin the last 2 years for peat control and they are fantastic
We can always count on Kyle and Orkin to cover our pest control needs. Kyle is very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. We always feel comfortable knowing he and the team are taking care of all our concerns.

He was a substitute and a very nice, personable young man.
Awesome job. Very professional
Our Orkin Tech, Chris, has always been very professional and helpful when he comes out for our recurring service appointments. He identifies potential issues before they can snowball into major pest concerns, and does all he can to mitigate pests in our home and yard. Every time he’s over, it’s a positive experience. Thank you Chris!
Very professional, thanked me for service to our country!
Couldn’t ask for a more professional and friendly exterminator. We’ve been so happy with the service and can’t believe how long the mosquitoes are gone after they treat for them! Orkin is the way to go!
We purchased a new built home a few months ago and for the first week we had so many ants and spiders throughout the house. We tried Raid and Otho the first few days but we definitely needed to leave it to the professionals. We called Orkin and they sent Chris out the next day. We’ve used other pest control…

Our service professional is terrific - provides guidance, answers questions, and is proactive. He even taught my curious son a thing or two about bugs!
