Two experiences, one fine, and the 2nd was so bad I'll never be back. Quickly fixed the issue with my car (shift cable, owner response mentioned oil change, which I had them do since it was already there); provided great service and results. Communicated well and kept me updated. I suggested that a family member…
Second time we have used their service for Jag convertible. Received excellent, professional service. We give them a 10!
Premium service. This place was chosen by my late husband. Estimate was quick and repairs made the same day of approving. Joe understood my current financial situation and offered options. The personal touch was invaluable in this hard time for my family. I recommend Oxford no doubt!
BMW 430i
Great work. I was also pleasantly surprised to notice how clean my car was after service.
I’m BEYOND impressed with the service and treatment of not only my car but of me at this automotive shop! They are excellent and I would’ve left a tip if I could have! ;) highly recommend
Impeccable service, fantastic people, great work, excellent price, insanely fast. I cannot recommend Oxford enough! Nate went above and beyond to make sure I was in the loop, the service review sent to me via text was impressive and detailed, and everything was smooth as silk. So much better than going through my…
Helpful staff
Oxford consistently provides great customer service and quality work for my car. It was easy to schedule an appointment on their website, and the turnaround time for my car was super quick. Thank you, Oxford!
2017 Acura in for Oil change, great communication from Gabby. The mechanics found oil blow at the oil pan. They sent pics. Ended up having it addressed instead of waiting. Mainly because our kid’s vehicle and will be commuting to Co-op this semester, didn’t want him to have to deal with it if it got worse. Overall good experience for first visit to Oxford.
Last time I’ll ever try to take my car to this shop. I booked what should have been a simple oil change and tire rotation after seeing the good reviews in Powell. They kept my car all day, then contacted me five minutes before closing to tell me they wouldn’t change the oil because they believed I needed a $900 oil…
Once again Oxford did a thorough assessment of my vehicle when I brought it in for an oil change. The complete diagnostics revealed a few minor issues with my vehicle. I had them take care of a few and am going to have them do the remainder in a few weeks. Once again great service from great people!
Great service & communication!
As a first time customer, having recently moved to the area, I was impressed with the professionalism, friendliness, and service provided. All of the employees I interacted with appeared genuine and caring. Gabbie, especially, was top-notch.
Took my son’s VW Jetta to be checked out before he headed to college. They were very honest and came back with only an oil change. They always seem to have coupons to make the services reasonable.
Excellent experience at Oxford Automotive! The team was friendly, professional, and provided a quick turnaround without sacrificing quality. They explained everything clearly, kept me informed throughout the process, and had my Land Rover Defender was ready sooner than I expected. It’s refreshing to find a shop…
They have have not faltered in the service as long as I've been going to them.
Great service, competitive pricing & highly detailed inspection report, costing & photos. Replaced water pump, rear brakes and general fluid replacements and oil change. Highly recommend and will be my first choice for any additional automotive repairs.
Great service and communication from Oxford! We will definitely go back and tell family and friends!!
Staff and service are top notch!
Great place.
great people
Oxford misdiagnosed a leaking axel as a leaking brake, recommended unnecessary repairs, and quoted twice as much as it should have cost. The staff are friendly, and the facility is nice, but now I know how they pay for those things.
Service‑wise, everything was good. However, I dropped off my car in the morning when the store opened and received it only near closing time. I was told it would be ready by noon, then by 4 PM, but it still wasn’t done. I waited in the store for another 30 minutes before it was finally delivered
I took my 2002 Lexus SC430 to Oxford Automotive for service and was very happy with everything. The people are very friendly and personable and the waiting area is large with coffee service. I will return to have the recommended additional service performed. I highly recommend the place.
Great service
Friendly and professional staff. Great customer service.
Joe was very accommodating to my elderly dad who has both mobility and financial concerns. We felt like Oxford treated us like they themselves would want to be treated. We’ll definitely be back!
Great and timely service.
Oxford staff is very knowledgeable and helpful on solutions
Everyone was kind and informative. Thank you!
My husband and I have been taking our cars here for years. Never had a bad experience and they always take care of us.
My car was acting odd. Not clear why several electrical issues were happening, finally I needed a "jump" to get it started. Oxford did a diagnostic and identified a weak/dead battery cell was at the heart of my issues. Replaced the battery and all is well.
It’s hard to find a good place that you can trust to work on your families vehicles, but have found that with Oxford! Joe over at the Powell/Sunbury location and team went above and beyond! Told us what “needed” fixed and what we could put off. Very comfortable with the prices they quoted as well. They also back up…
I needed an oil change for my BMW X5 and my regular mechanic was booked out for a few weeks. Oxford had worked on my wife’s car a few years ago so I took mine there. Oxford provided a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, professional and hospitable. The waiting area clean, quiet with coffee and snacks…
I would recommend oxford for service on their car. My experience was very good. They were quick, knowledgeable and respectful
This is not my first time using Oxford and I’ve been really pleased with each service! First with my 2004 Corolla this past year and now with my 2021 Ford Escape. Their prices are fair and their work excellent!-id highly recommend.
Very respectful, very professional, listened, discussed options, kept me informed and presented a summary that provided confidence and area to monitor.Quality service
Used Oxford Automotive for the first time on my SLK 350 Mercedes and was really impressed with their thoroughness. They provided a full inspection report with photos and detail so I could make an informed decision on some repair items. The staff were friendly and efficient and their use of on line technology for…
Extremely pleased with the services provided by manager (Joe) and service writer (Nate). Looking for local service in Powell, OH for German automobile once new car service warranty had expired. Easy appointment scheduling. Thoughtful inspection. Comfortable waiting area. Met my maintenance needs. Will return.
I recently had my 2017 Lexus RX 350 serviced at Oxford automotive in Powell. Nate was very professional and pleasant to work with, and they provide detailed descriptions of what service was needed including photos. I would highly recommend them!
Great communication. Service was as quoted. Provided car for an appointment I had. Positive experience. Buick Regal Oil Change. Same day while I waited.
They always do a great job at Oxford. Very professional, great communicators, and a convenient process to get my BMW in and out of service to work with my schedule.
New customer and will definitely be back. Great staff (Nate), great reception area, professional and clean. Very impressed, highly recommend.
My check light came on while I was driving to work so the car stopped pulling. I managed to auto zone and diagnosed shows that my fuel sensor is not working. I quickly checked online and found Oxford automobile service. I called them and the reception was quite good so drove my 2020 Mercedes GLC 300 to the shop.…
First time customer. Recent to the area. Got recommendation. Didn't disappoint.
This is the first time I have ever taken a vehicle to Oxford Automotive after passing by it for many years. I received a coupon in the mail for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation for an excellent price and decided to support a local business. I was blown away at their attention to detail when I receive a text,…
Excellent, friendly service. These folks are really carving out a market for reasonable cost of servicing a Mercedes Benz vehicle.
Super nice, quick, and a nice waiting area if you are not dropping off your car.
I was able to get a same day oil change at a good price for my Volkswagen GTI. Thank you Gabby for your help!
Always thorough in evaluating your car. Prices are reasonable and the staff are amazing!
Friendly staff and provided comprehensive information about services that are needed in the futere for my vehicle
Good experience, staff was courteous and very helpful. The shop was clean and appeared to run very efficiently. My 1st time taking this vehicle somewhere other than the dealership for service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommend!
Gabby is fantastic to work with. Really appreciate their dedication to detail.
Very fast and friendly service. Very detailed pictures and explanations of your vehicle
Brought my son’s Acura in for an oil change . Have driven by Oxford too many times to count. From the very beginning of my experience with them to picking it up, I was extensively impressed with the professional communication they exhibited. They sent me a complete from to rear diagnostic report. Now, my son’s Acura…
Knowledgeable. Kept me informed along the way. Professional. Great service. Courteous.
Wow! This place is awesome! My repair was explained to me in a way I understood. The showed me the damage and we discussed what would be done! They are so professional and what really caught my attention was they are believers and the business reflects that. I will get all my repairs done here in the future. I…
Good experience with these guys. I will be back in the future.
Loved how they sent pictures to my cell phone of everything they did as standard checks with my oil change! Great feature! Will recommend Oxford to all my family and friends!
Great communication, friendly and clean shop. I’ve had the team at Oxford help me several times now with repairs and routine maintenance. Thank you again for fair and honest service.
Great folks at Oxford that are very thorough and helpful.
Easy to talk to and they explain the process well, as well as suggesting services to better my car. Th EU were willing to set up someone to drive me to work on time too! Appreciate the friendly and professional service!
Everyone at the facility was so knowledgeable and polite. I’m so glad they were able to service us. Will definitely be going back again! (:
A Wonderful place of Business to get your car repaired. They have an amazing staff. Joe & Gabbie were phenomenal with knowledge on vehicle details that were very helpful into making the right decisions head on. Thank You Oxford Automotive!
Had a great experience here getting an oil change and alignment. Amazing hospitality, with a nice waiting room. The service is also quality and fairly priced. I appreciated the transparency during the service and helpful explanations which is always great! I definitely recommend !!
In and out. Very easy. Friendly people
Everyone at Oxford is extremely helpful... they do what they let me know what needs fixed and what can wait. I really appreciate that. I highly recommend them, and tell anyone who asks where I get my car care.

Excellent service
Treated professionally, car maintenance was timely and done well.
Quality and timely service
Great service at a fair price. Nice waiting area, friendly staff. Much cheaper than Valvoline with more service.
Absolutely fantastic shop and team. Exceptional transparency and they always go above and beyond. Very lucky to have them right up the road in Powell.
New to the Columbus area and I got lucky when I found this shop, they were very thorough with their assessment and repair service. Nice waiting and I will be back here for sure!!
Tim and the entire team at Oxford Automotive Powell did a great job on my wife’s car routine service! My car was ready ahead of schedule and a very fair price. Thank you so much!
Great people and service !
I found this place after my son-in-law had a great experience here. I’ve had two services done in the last couple weeks. Oil change on a Porsche and brakes put on the vehicle. I have 60,000 miles on my car and they worked with me to get the price down. They beat my dealers price considerably. They were friendly,…
Really impressed with their waiting area. Their descriptions of the services rendered and the services recommended for next visit were clear and concise. Results of full-body inspection were easy to view on my mobile device the moment the inspection was complete. With the coupon it was a great price.
I had an excellent experience with Oxford Automotive Powell! From start to finish, their team was professional, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what needed to be done, gave me a fair and transparent estimate, and completed the work quickly without cutting corners. I would highly…
Timely service, detailed work and price breakdowns (with pictures included), and a very comfortable waiting space. Oh, and a coffee bar. C’mon now.
Friendly people. Great service!
A “hidden gem” of auto repair & service here! By far, my most pleasant experience in an auto shop. Oxford Automotive was referred to me by my Dad, with an accompanying 1st time customer coupon that couldn’t be beat for the services performed. A family-owned company that employs an exceptionally pleasant & highly…
I took my car to Oxford Automotive for the first time and will be going back in the future. It was quick and easy. I had no issues and all of the employees were courteous and professional. The price is reasonable and they provided a nice inspection report with more detail than I’ve received from my dealership. I definitely recommend Oxford!
Best Car Customer Service that I've ever received from Terry, Kassi and Tim. Kassi took my original inquiry call and she was just as pleasant in person as she was over the phone. The team explained everything in great detail and provided me a thorough data point sheet for next step preventative maintenance going…
I’ve been taking my vehicles to Oxford for a while. Previously was taking them to the Delaware location but this time I visited the Powell location and experienced the same great customer service and great repair and service work. With a European car their pricing is half of what I would have to pay at a dealership.
Good shop offer slightly better pricing than the dealership and get work done in a efficient manner. Good communication. They do an inspection and actually show you the photos of issues which makes it a lot easier to trust them when you can tell it’s your car and not a stock photo. Have forgotten to reset the…
Very professional & experienced staff. Quick follow up and identified and communicated issues and offered recommendations.
Oxford is the only place we go for anything to do with car repair. The are always professional, knowledgeable and very trustworthy. We’ve been customers for 10 years. Great people. Great place. Highly recommend Oxford Automotive!
Comfortable, efficient.
Oxford Automotive is not a trustworthy company. They have not dealt honestly with me or my daughter and have not even followed up with my concerns like the said they would. They made two major mistakes, missing the fact that there was LOW ENGINE COOLANT (They did not note this in the inspection report or tell us,…
Prompt service and prices are competitive. They always go the extra mile to exceeded expectations.
Personal, trustworthy and thorough, they did a good job and I was comfortable with their work.
I use Oxford routinely about 4 times annually for oil service and tire rotation. They offer me a fair price and the work has been very good. No hard sells for extras. Good location and comfortable wait area. They seem very trustworthy.
I recently took my car to Oxford Automotive for an oil change and tire rotation. They were professional, courteous, and accommodating. A complete vehicle inspection was performed as well. Their fees were reasonable, they got the job done on time, and contacted me a couple of days later to be sure everything was…
The most thorough service experience I have ever experienced! This business is so competent and professional! They are also very fair cost wise!
Quality work at a fair price. On time. Courteous and competent people.
Every time I use Oxford, I wonder why I don't always use them... Friendly, knowledgeable team, loaner cars, competitive rates, quick diagnosis and repairs, what more could you want?
This was the first time using oxford automotive and I can’t rave enough about them! They were straight forward about the cost, wait time, and issues with my car. I am not a car person and they took the time to explain each issue, show me pictures and answer all of my questions. They also were very accommodating when…
Friendly staff and quality service.
This is my first time going there for oil change ,they were able to schedule within my time as I was little bit in a hurry, and did the oil change and tire rotations for vehicle as promised.
Always get great service
Everything requested was completed, and when additional labor and parts were required, I was contacted and advised of issue and given a thorough explanation before proceeding with my approval. Excellent quality. Courteous, professional staff.
Fair prices and outstanding customer service.
Decided to give Oxford a try after years of using the dealership. Brian and Ben took exceptional care of my car. They were both very communicative. Took time to explain if the car needed any other maintenance but did not pressure me into fixing anything. Lastly, the waiting area was very comfortable.
Great service for affordable price
Very knowledgeable and professional service! Trust them with the care and handling of ALL of our vehicles!
Great service, friendly, and timely. Comfortable waiting room.
This was my third trip to Oxford Automotive. Each visit was for an entirely different reason from a basic oil change to a serious mechanical problem. All were treated with interest , care , concern and professionalism along with a clear explanation of what is going on, their recommendation along with an important…
Experienced polite, prompt attention at write up. I waited while service was done and it was completed in a timely manner. The waiting area is clea and bright with lots of amenities. Very pleasant experience
Convenient after hours drop off and pick up. Great service and customer communications.
Good experience in general. I will be back
Very convenient and knowledgeable place for car service in the Powell area. I was able to easily schedule and drop off my car. When my car was ready they even picked me up. Their text communication was very helpful for me and I have to assume if that’s not for you they will call as well. My in laws have found…
This is the most honest auto shop in town.
Both locations are top notch and do their very best to take care of their customers.
Friendly staff, service was done sooner than expected, and they informed me of additional services that were due for my car, but weren’t pushy about making me commit to having them done immediately I will definitely return there for future service!
I have an 2016 Audi A4 S-line that was due for its 7 year service. Needed plugs, oil/filter change, tire balance and rotation, brake fluid replacement and both air filters replaced. The technician found both real wheels were bent. They sent me videos of the condition. They were obviously warped. They were sent out…
Would highly recommend this auto repair shop. This was one of the only locations that had the equipment to run smoke through emissions system to find the leak. They do a fantastic job sending pictures of the entire inspection of vehicle and give you the option of choosing what you approve/deny to have done through…
Ben is the best. I trust his info and guidance. He goes above and beyond to ensure I get good information on my car…even for things his shop may not do for me!
This is where we go for service. Drop the mic!
Jeff and the team over at Oxford Automotive are awesome. The communication between phone calls emails and text messages is top notch. Services fast and efficient, and done with the utmost quality that is lacking today within the automotive repair world. As the costs for everything have astronomically increased,…
First time coming to this place, I had high hopes but it was just a very below average experience. They got greasy finger print marks on the door sill, center console, steering wheel and hood as I keep my cars very clean and detailed. They forgot my wheel locks and I had to drive back to the place when I noticed it…
Excellent service as usual.
Oxford will get the job done correctly for you. There service is great! It won’t be the cheapest but there model is to not cut corners. And they work on a lot of different brands of vehicles.
Excellent communication and service on multiple vehicles
Very professional! Greeted by a very kind lady who offered to show me around! Had a wonderful area to wait for your car! I would highly recommend!!!!!!
I had a wonderful experience at Oxford! I was referred by my sister who lives in the neighborhood. They got me in right away and were very affordable. Everyone I talked to was very professional and polite! I’ll definitely be back!
Oxford did an Awesome job!!
Great staff and wonderful customer service. Highly recommend Oxford Automotive.
Very communicative and thorough in what they do! Wish I could give 4.5* Oil change requires you to drop the vehicle off instead of giving an appointment and doing it while waiting.
I would not take my care anywhere else. I trust them & count on their great service!
Very clean shop and waiting area. Reasonable pricing for the work I received. No high pressure sales pitch on the recommended work from my Service Advisor. I’ll be back!
I have felt very good about taking my car to Oxford Auto for several years. They give me suggestions if I need to spread out repairs. I trust what they tell me.
Oxford provides excellent service and customer care. Their vehicle inspection reports provide impressive detail and evidence of work. I feel confident knowing that Oxford is taking good care of my cars.
Great experience! Oxford takes care of your vehicle, is extremely transparent and the costs are very competitive with the rest of the market. I would recommend that anyone in the area take a hard look at Oxford for all of your automotive maintenance/repair needs!
I had recieved a mailer from Oxford during the Holidays. I was due for an oil change and tire rotation amd was going to take it to the dealer but Oxfords price was much more reasonable and I am glad I went to them. The service was great, a little longer on time than the one hour. I have found my new place for…
Outstanding customer service always very helpful.
Very friendly - Max was knowledgeable and attentive. Very thorough. Shuttle service was very convenient. Love keeping my business local 😊
