Very professional and did a great job
The team did a beautiful job painting and wallpapering our apartment. They were very careful and efficient, and cleaned up the job site perfectly.
As an Interior Designer working in NY and Florida, I can most certainly give Paintworks & Decorating an outstanding review and my highest recommendation! Ryan, as the main estimator, was an excellent communicator and presented a thorough and itemized quote. Ryan's crew of one painter and two wallpapermen were…
We had a great experience with Paintworks. The team was quick, professional, and completed the job promptly and on schedule. Ryan and the rest of the crew were exceptionally helpful, responsive, and professional throughout the process. Our apartment looks great!
Asset Electric Corp is a licensed electrical contractor in Brooklyn (License #13207), and drywall and plaster repair comes with the territory when you're running new circuits or doing an electrical panel replacement. We bring in Paintworks for the patching and painting behind us, and the results speak for…
They did great work painting and putting up wallpaper. Very detail oriented and really made sure it was done well. Five stars!
Ricky is fantastic at sales for sure however biggest issue with Paintworks NYC was the gap between the sales pitch and the reality of the work. We were sold a high level of attention to detail, including matching the existing finishes and textures, but in practice the apartment was largely painted the same way…
Got our apartment looking perfect in just one day after a contractor ruined it. Highly recommend! Quick and a great job. Left the apartment clean etc
I cannot speak highly enough of Paintworks. They took exceptional care of my apartment, completed the work beautifully, and resolved every issue efficiently and at a very reasonable price. The team was professional, responsive, and incredibly easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. They were also…
Paintworks & Decorating exceeded expectations in every way. I’ve now used them twice—once for painting my living and dining room in a gorgeous, rich navy, and again for staining my deck and planter boxes—and both experiences were exceptional. From the start, their professionalism stood out. The team was punctual,…
We had an incredible experience working with the Paintworks team to repair the walls and paint our whole townhome before moving in. From the very start Ryan, Ricky and the team were very responsive and detailed in their approach, providing an estimate within a few hours of chatting through the brief. We were working…
Professional and efficient
Paintworks did a fantastic job giving our kitchen cabinets a whole new look. We were so pleased that we brought them back for some carpentry work to build a bar and install some custom shelves.
Paintworks was amazing! Ryan came to access the work we needed and gave us a reasonable and timely quote. He worked with our schedule and work started quickly. The team, including Aigars, was fantastic. Our bathroom ceiling was replaced and painted beautifully. Aigars designed a new laundry area with doors that…
I got exactly what I asked for. First off, they are incredibly thorough and transparent. Any price adjustment is immediately told to you, and if something is best left untouched they will advise you. Every question they have, they ask instead of guess. They are also super friendly and quick to respond. They also…
Quick and efficient. Finished the job in one day. Exactly how I asked.
I had a positive experience working with Paintworks. They were responsive, easy to work with, clear/honest about the estimate and time frame, and more or less finished the job on time. They did great work and I'm really happy with how my apartment looks now. They painted the entire apartment and my kitchen cabinets.…
Luis did an outstanding job!
Paintworks did a great job painting the walls and fixing the drywall. Cabinets are flawless, looks like we have a new kitchen without the cost of new cabinets. Won’t hesitate to hire them again for future projects
Ryan and the team at Paintworks were fantastic. We had our apartment painted after several years of living in it - so they had to move things away from walls, drape everything, work in much more cramped space than an empty apartment would have offered - basically a total hassle. But everyone I dealt with was very…
Paintworks has been my go-to for 5+ years. They are efficient, flexible and professional. I never use anyone else.
Very good work at a reasonable cost, and they did a thorough clean-up afterward.
Great communication and quality work. Thank you!
We had our kitchen cabinets painted last year and Paintworks did a fine job. They went out of there way to get the job done before the Thanksgiving Holiday. Some of the hinges were ajar and they promptly sent a carpenter to repair them. They matched the color perfectly and our cabinets look like new. I recomend them…
Paintworks and Decorating helped to get our co-op move in ready over the summer. They handled all aspects of the project including some removal work, plastering, painting, and some new flooring. They responded quickly to all questions, were communicative throughout, were able to work with our schedule, and…
UPDATE: We went back to Paintworks for additional work. They did a BEAUTIFUL job on my cabinets and my kitchen walls! It was the same experience: on time, professional and focused on making us happy. It was just great! Prior feedback: The team was on time, responsive, respectful and skilled. Whenever we had…
We hired Paintworks and Decorating to paint the interior (walls and doors) of our new apartment and also install box moldings, crown moldings, ceiling plates and lighting fixtures. Ryan and his team were extremely professional, efficient and the level of work was nothing short of outstanding. Beyond the finished…
This is the second time I have used them and they are excellent. I highly recommend them.
They were fantastic. Highly recommend .
Paintworks and Decorating did a fantastic job in giving a fresh coat of paint to our new apartment. In preparation to the job they were extremely responsive and accommodating of our multiple changes in schedule. On the day they of the job, they did extra work to polish a few things that we hadn't previously noticed…
Professional service, fast turnaround, and very thorough. Further, carpentry handyman on staff was extremely helpful in addressing a number of minor issues.
I cannot recommend highly enough! I was out of town while my whole apartment was being painted with my housekeeper there to let the team in. We literally didn't have to lift a finger - the only thing I did was remove the art from the walls. Ryan and his team had it done so fast I couldn't believe it. Worth every penny!
Quick, professional and easy to deal with. Very good value. User friendly. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve used them multiple times.
Very reliable painters.
I would use them again! And I would recommend them. They got the job done and their work efforts are awesome!
Ryan showed up very fast to get us a quote to paint our showroom. He finished the job within 3 days which impressed us and its very clean. Happy we used them and would go back for repeat business.
Amazing experience, beautiful results. So easy to work with- they were incredibly flexible as we had to move dates multiple times, and they were so responsive. I wish I had more rooms to paint!
Very accommodating, friendly, communicative and the painting they did for us looks great!!
They replaced our wallpaper and repainted the walls and doors of our hallway. Service was efficient' they left the place clean, and overall were very pleasant.
Very professional and skilled team. Pricing was fair and transparent and everyone from painters to management extremely easy to work with. Would work with them again.
The painters did a great job in my bedroom. I highly recommend this company.
The painting is perfection and the tile work is excellent. Danny and Ryan are great communicators, easy to work with and super reliable.
They are the real deal! We are very happy customers after Paintworks and Decorating skim coated, painted, installed new moulding, and hung new interior doors throughout our 900+sqft co-op apartment. They did great work!
Ryan and his team are the best.
I contracted Paintworks and Decorating for 2 houses I wanted to renovate. They did an AMAZING job in a ridiculously fast amount of time. The side and exterior painting was done in 2 days for house 1 and in 3 days for house 2. The roof and interior painting took 3 days together. What I appreciated the most about…
We purchased a prewar apartment which hadn’t been painted in several years. The apartment has many prewar architectural details including beams, intricate baseboards, and, needless to say, uneven walls. All of this made it not an easy job. We hired Paintworks and Decorating to paint the entire apartment. They did a…
Paintworks and Decorating painted the whole interior of our 900 square foot apartment which had not been painted in about 20 years. The whole apartment--including trim, bathroom, closets, and kitchen--was in extremely bad shape, in desperate need of scraping multiple layers, plastering, priming, and painting. They…
I've used Paintworks for the past 4 years and have never been disappointed with the quality of their work. They are professional and take great care to ensure the work is done well, and the areas are protected and meticulously cleaned.
Ryan made sure that we were happy with the work that was done.
Ryan, Ricky, and the team were fabulous from beginning to end. The work is quality, thorough, well-priced and on time. Ryan managed the whole experience and he’s super responsive with email, text, and phone. If issues come up, Ryan works with you to get it right - I had a small area of a wall which was missed on…
Wonderful staff and good attention to detail and responsive! We really appreciated their work!
Quality: This was our 3rd job from Paintworks. We are very satisfied customers. We had multiple cracks to fill/fix and the room looks brand new now! The painters also had to match our different paint colors on walls/ceilings/trim. No problem for them. Responsiveness. Ryan took photos and made note of my concerns…
paintworks & decorating has become my "go to" whenever I need interior restoration work. I had just had them in 9 months ago for an apartment I manage... skim coat and painting. During the storms we've been having, the roof of the building was damaged and there were leaks in the apartment. The walls & ceiling…
This is our 5th job partnering with Paintworks and every time it’s been a phenomenal experience. Quality work at a great price and always done in a timely fashion. Ricky, Ryan and team are truly masters of their craft.
The paint job done by Paintworks was top notch. The folks I spoke with were flexible, knowledgeable and super communicative throughout the process. Most importantly, they did a fabulous job and were able to complete the work within a pretty tight timeline I put in place for them. Bravo to this team! I'd highly…
Good stuff all around. Respectful.
Will use them again!
We are always pleased with the work that Paintworks and Decorating has done for our home. They are easy to deal with and always do a top notch job. The workers are always, skilled and polite and show up on time. They are Covid safe in their practice.
Ryan was fantastic to work with. He was very responsive before the job and even as it had already started, he was accommodating to our needs. His team were wonderful and pleasant as well. Will definitely keep them for any future work needed.
Highly recommend! Ryan made painting our new apartment so easy. He was straightforward and upfront about timing and costs and kept us updated on progress throughout. Most importantly, it looks beautiful!
