When we discovered a hole in our roof, caused by a fallen branch in a storm, we called Palmer. They were able to get here within a few days and to inspect and then repair the roof in one, quick visit. Dale was friendly and easy to work with. We have used Palmer before (including to install the roof) and we will certainly not hesitate to do so again.

Conscientious, thorough, and careful. They did a great job and were easy to work with. I believe they are ethical and honest, doing the work exactly as they said they would. They found two problems with my house, and immediately fixed both of them, which is very reassuring. And all of this was done in 100+ degrees of heat!

We appreciate Palmer Construction for the beautiful and top-quality improvements they have made to our 60 year-old home. Andy and team completely redesigned our exterior with siding, brick, and windows. Over the years they have been there for us for many improvements in our whole house.
They are trustworthy and professional. They will tell you what is needed for the future durability of the home, and are reliable to show up and do great work when they say they will be there. Five stars!

Palmer construction helped us so much after our home was damaged in a flood. They helped provide water mitigation and repair, did reconstruction and remodeling and also helped us add an addition onto our house, including a new roof. We are so thankful for their attention to detail, professionalism, and dedication to putting our home back together. It’s become our haven again, just lots better than it was before.
I used Palmer Construction this summer for a structural addition roof project. They were able to convert my flat roof to a pitched roof, remove a door and replaced it with a window, and replaced my gutters. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Everyone I dealt with was very kind, communicative, and flexible with additions and changes that I made. They did such a thorough job and I am extremely pleased. I had a different company replace my main roof last year and had a very poor experience, and I will definitely be using Palmer Construction in any future projects on my home. Great company and great people. Thank you!
If you can find a better company, use them. But I am betting you won't. First of all Palmer Construction is a full service operation in terms of the scope of my project. Initially, I needed a roof repair due to tornado damage. That morphed into a roof replacement. My house is VERY complex having been built in the spirit of Frank Lloyd Wright in the mid fifties – Low slope roof, many roof decks, flat roofs, roofs that intersect with walls, etc. Andy Palmer, the President, came to do the estimate and he knew exactly what to do. Other contractors knew how to reshingle but would have ruined my roof (and house). More important, he knows his limits which we didn't have to deal with but he did tell me that there were things they wouldn't do.
There was one section of the roof that had proven to be a problem in that is was where a slope intersected with a wall. It had leaked into the house off and on over the decades and was actively leaking. I pointed this out to him and underscored the importance of getting that spot right. He noted my concern and assured me that once they do a job, they own it. I quit worrying!
The Roof came out spectacularly: On time and on budget and professionally completed.
The outside of my project was done and it was time to repair the leak-damaged interior wall. The drywall came down only to reveal rotted, carpenter ant-eaten beams. I immediately called Andy to see if he could help. Palmer replaced the beams and shored up the seven foot roof extension with a steel post. Thankfully, I had selected somebody with a vast array of problem solving skills. Two weeks later, everything was better than new.
I finally got around to replacing the gutter for that seven foot extension and discovered a hole in an adjoining brick wall. The solution was a kickout flashing which I could have done but Andy offered to put one in himself. Service after the sale!!
I should mention that the roof is warranted for 50 years so I am betting it will be trouble free indefinitely.
If you have a shed or a dog house, call anybody. If your project is at all complicated or you just want the best worry-free, call Palmer Construction.
Everything about this experience had been exceptional. The sales presentation was very informative and made me feel confident in choosing Palmer. Communication was perfect through all stages. The roofers were polite and friendly and they went out of their way to protect my front yard which is made up of expensive ground cover. I'll sing their praises to anyone looking for this type of work.
