As a complete beginner, I couldn’t have asked for a better guitar teacher than Pat. From our very first lesson, he made me feel comfortable and excited to learn, despite my total lack of experience. He is extremely patient, never rushing me through chords or strumming patterns, breaking everything down into clear, manageable steps.
What I love most is how he tailors lessons to my pace and interests. He’s super encouraging, always pointing out what I’m doing right before gently correcting mistakes. His feedback feels constructive, never discouraging, which is huge for a newbie like me.
Pat’s the kind of teacher who makes you believe you can actually get good at playing. Highly recommend him to anyone starting their guitar journey!

I've been with Pat Hurley for about 9 months. Pat has a knack for understanding your style and tailoring his lessons to match it perfectly. Whether you're into rock, blues, or even some funky stuff, Pat's got you covered. He also makes learning theory easy too. He breaks it down in a way that actually makes sense, and you get a great understanding of what's going on on the fretboard. Pat is very patient and never rushes you. If struggling at all, he'll find a way to make it work for you. I would recommend him to anyone trying to get to the next step in guitar.

Pat is an amazing teacher and musician. I am a beginner student and although enthusiastic about learning Accoustic guitar found it to be more challenging than expected. Pat is such a positive and patient person who truly loves to teach and does a great job doing it. He has allowed me to stay focused and motivated helping me to learn music that I actually want to play. I would highly recommend him to any level guitar player.
