Sara creates such a friendly and welcoming environment for your pet to relax and be themselves, which really comes through in the photos. She was wonderful to work with, very organized and detail-oriented, and communicated clearly throughout the entire experience. She captured so many funny, sweet, chaotic and endearing moments... and her assistant was a huge help during the photoshoot. The treats just kept flowing!
That said, I do think prospective clients should be very aware of the pricing structure before booking. I received this experience through a silent auction, so I went into it without knowing the typical price point. I was honestly shocked when I learned that prints start at $250 for a single 5x7, making this much more of a luxury photography experience than I had anticipated.
I also found the photo-selection process a little stressful. Rather than receiving a gallery to review at home, you have a one-hour viewing appointment to go through more than 100 photos and decide during that session which images you would like to purchase. For me, it felt rushed and somewhat rigid, especially given the cost of each image. In my previous experiences with photographers, digital images or a gallery for later review have typically been included with the session or available as part of the package, so this was very different from what I expected.
Sara herself was great, and the quality of the experience and photos was excellent. I would just strongly recommend asking for the full pricing and purchasing structure ahead of time so you know what to expect and can decide whether it fits your budget.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Sara! I'd wanted to do a photoshoot for our dog Luke and was so delighted finding the Paw Print Studio site- I held onto the idea for years and when we finally made it happen she made the entire experience so much fun from beginning to end.
She was incredibly patient and knew exactly how to bring out the best in Luke, even when his attention was, well, very selective! We got such a great variety of photos with different backdrops, props, goofy expressions, serious ones, poses- so much personality!
I also asked about incorporating some pregnancy photos, which felt like a silly ask for a dog photoshoot, but Sara was so great with it- they ended up being my only professional maternity photos, and they're absolutely wonderful. So there is definitely the opportunity for range in this experience.
One thing I especially appreciated was how easy she made everything. During pregnancy I was working full time and completely overwhelmed, and she met me with so much patience, flexibility, and thoughtful guidance. She had wonderful ideas, helped me feel prepared without adding any stress, and made the whole process feel effortless. I felt like she wanted us to have an excellent experience and not just beautiful pictures.
I can’t say enough about the final images- after wanting to do it for years they were so worth everything. When the prints arrived she even included a toy for Luke (who had enthusiastically tested the durability of a few of hers during the shoot!) and a blanket for our new baby. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture. My next goal is to book another shoot with Luke and baby on the other side. If you’ve been debating this at all, go for it. We couldn't recommend her more highly!

We are so grateful we met Sara and decided to do a pet photography session with Paw Print Studio. Sara is amazing and she creates beautiful work… canvas artwork, family photos, and a beautifully laid out album that we will treasure forever. We have four dogs (1 pomsky and 3 huskies) who most photographers would have viewed as a coordination impossibility, but not Sara! She made it seem effortless and accepted the challenge and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! From the very beginning, it was clear that she loves the work she does and the lasting memories she is providing for her clients. First, she came to our house and met the pups on their turf, got to know their personalities as well our home aesthetic which is so important and Sara put together a package that completely aligned with our vision! Our dogs are very high energy and can be a bit stubborn.. getting all four in a photo with also me and my fiancee was one of our goals and Sara NAILED it! It was so evident how much she truly enjoyed working with our dogs. We had our viewing session and were so in love with all the photos .. it was hard to be selective! She hand delivered our album and wall art and to top it all off .. personally hung our wall art beautifully! Even when we changed our minds last minute as to where we were putting it.
