Jacob does an amazing job! He is professional, knowledgeable, competent and friendly. Good service and the landscape looks better than it has in years!
This is the first time I have spoken to one of your technicians. He was very helpful and gave me information about what they were doing to the lawn. Much appreciated.
Sam came out to follow up on the chinch bug problem we’ve been dealing with since July. He was knowledgeable, professional and genuinely determined to find a solution. He gave us the impression that he takes our concerns seriously and is committed to getting the problem resolved. We appreciate his dedication and his determination not to let us down!
Issues I have is communication with the company. I’m seeing more weeds in my backyard than when I started with them.
He did an excellent job
He was on time and did a great.job. He always does an excellent job.
Probably biggest rip off yard company. Shouldn't have to keep calling when yard is not improving. Then when you cancel they charge you weeks after the fact and tell you pretty much oh well. You can find better yard companies at half the cost.
7/8/26…Received our bimonthly charge from Dave’s not Pioneer. Protested as we thought we had been scammed only to learn that Dave’s is buying Pioneer. We received no notice from Pioneer. of this. To make things worse, our service man neglected to call us before he arrived so he could not access our back…

Patrick did a great job today inspecting the lawn. He’s even going to send an irrigation specialist out to check our sprinklers.
Robert visited our house recently to complete our lawn care service. Normally our technicians from other companies come out and simply say they sprayed and they will see me in a few months. He specified the exact kinds of weeds seen and told us they were treated. He pointed out that we need to water more, so he…
Preston is the best. Great communication, punctual and courteous.

Preston has been doing my lawn for a long time and always does a great job. He responds to text messages, etc. and will listen to any concerns I have and try to come up with solutions. I can’t recommend him enough!
It’s impossible to provide a valid review of a lawn treatment minutes after it’s been done, specifically if the homeowner is not even home when it’s done. In today’s case, I was home and the technician rang my doorbell. He introduced himself and spoke with me professionally. However, it is still impossible to rate…

Not happy with the results of services AT ALL. Have had problems since June and my yard looks horrible. Very upset. Will be canceling ALL of my services if there is not a solution. I changed my irrigation, I have done everything asked. Have been waiting for a supervisor to contact e for months now.

Austin is absolutely amazing in regards to his knowledge of lawn and soil conditions. He always calls the day before and answers all questions I have regarding watering, weeds and general lawn care. The grass is so green and best of all...no weeds.
Our lawn has never looked better. I can’t recommend pioneer enough. Austin is always so polite and professional. We get compliments on our lawn all the time I tried other companies and I tried doing it myself and the money we spend on Pioneer is worth it.
Alexis is a very respectful and friendly person. He listens to whatever comments or questions I have and provides good advice. He does a thorough job each time he comes.
I have tried most of the other companies... they all made promises, but my yard has suffered from their failure to deliver on their promises. I was given the recommendation for Pioneer Pest Services by my dental hygenist. So I called to have them look at my yard. Austin, there sales rep arrived early and gave me…
Always prompt and helpful with suggesting irrigation tweaks for the lawns needs when speaking with my husband.
Don’t know how effective yet. Lawn treatment takes time.
Had a great and simple experience with them so far! We just got all new sod and hope that we can keep it this time with the support or a good pest control company, while still enjoying the bugs we love!
Austin helped me understand the short comings of my new sprinkler system. Professional and answered my questions in detail. Very knowledgeable in the business he is in. Positive thinking and always with a smile.
Austin came to treat my lawn. I came out to talk with him about things I had emailed to Pioneer Pest (PP)but they never responded with the answers that Austin ended up giving me. I ended up sidetracking his day for probably about an hour in the very hot, humid FL sun. I said I would let him go but he said it was no…
Everything looks great!!!!
Great company. Very responsive when lawn issues arise.
Preston takes pride in his work. He wants to ensure the lawn looks as good as he’d want his own lawn to look.
Very professional
I was frustrated with the condition of my lawn and areas of brown spots until Fredo Muniz, Field Trainer visited my home. It stemmed from my irrigation system that needed adjusting and repositioning. Mr. Muniz years of experience and expertise allowed him to immediately identify the issue. We both discussed an…
He explained work he plans to do
2nd review: Austin with Pioneer Pest it’s nothing short of a miracle working hero in our eyes. No joke!!! He has single-handedly taken our yard from weak, half dead and in need of replacement to weed FREE, thick, lush and healthy. We never even replaced a single plug in all the dead areas, and he brought the…
Lawn fertilization
We have used Pioneer Pest Control for the past 8 years and have always been pleased. Jacob does a great job as well as all the technicians.
I have consistently use this company for over a year now. They have killed thousands of dollars worth of Landscape and when new management started they promised this would not happen again, however, now my yard is dying and they are tons of Dollar weeds. I have been paying for service to keep it immaculate, but they…
I have used this service for the past several years without a problem. Now our lawn looks pretty good. We got a new tech and it seems like they always want to sell us something. The latest is a sprinkler evaluation that would end up costing 700 dollars and our lawn looks good. Very costly for the service. I am…
We have been using pioneer since our home was built in 2019. Whenever we had issues they would always be there promptly. In the last 6 months our grass has all kinds of weeds. We recently had our backyard scraped and new saint Augustine installed. We called pioneer last week on Wednesday to get our new grass…
I’m so happy I was recommended pioneer pest control they do everything and so far I’m satisfied
UPDATE: I don't write many reviews, but after this mornings phone call from Pioneer Pest telling my account is on hold for non payment of services. I had to hold back the laughter, look at these photos and ask me what services they withheld? So after 18 months, look how great my lawn looks...NOT! I had…
Pioneer Pest really is the best in Volusia County. They have great staff who is always willing to help and explain what they are doing, or when they can come out. I use them for lawn pest and weed control. My lawn and others who use Pioneer are the best looking in the neighborhood. Their field technician, Jonathan…
Started off well then the lawn deteriorated. Called them numerous times and each time i got the same reply a service manager will be in touch. I have more weeds now than my neighbors who do not even use a service. Shame i will look to discontinue asap. Will not reccomend! Stay clear!!
We have the best looking grass in the neighborhood !!! We also use indoor pest control, in two years we’ve never had any type of bug in our house! We use indoor & yard service. Very satisfied.
