I was quoted $1,025 on a sump pump swap. It’s a quality unit that retails for $500 so I think this was fair. I was then notified I needed a check valve which added almost $400 to the cost ($40 part). Not so fair and I think if you are replacing the whole pump most plumbers wouldn’t charge this much for a few minutes…

Plumbing Express was great. I had a failed sump pump that had partially overflowed into the basement. Nasty. Josh was the tech that did the work. He was efficient, neat and courteous. I will use Plumbing Express if I have any other plumbing needs and I will recommend them to my family and friends.

Daniel did a great job installing and piping for a new sump pump in the basement. He communicates well, is prompt, makes sure everything works perfectly and that the customer understands everything, and then cleans up after the work is completed. This had the potential to be a very messy job, but you can't even tell…

Sump installation was quick and drama-free. There was a slight issue with the float switch catching on one of the pipe band clamps but Dave promptly returned and fixed it without issue.
