I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to make an exception for Walter at Proodian Rug Cleaners. We have a large, older custom wool rug that had been professionally cleaned in our home periodically over the years. Once we rolled it up, though, it became obvious just how much dirt had accumulated and,… Read full review

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Great service, good communication and a refreshed couch. We can't wait to see our rugs that are being cleaned

Our room-sized oriental rugs were deep cleaned and deodorized to our satisfaction. Not an easy task to remove them and get them back in place but it was well planned and well executed. Thank you!

Had a cashmere rug from Kuwait that had a lot of stains. They picked it up, and in a week or two, brought it back. Looks great, the process was easy.

Not only did my rug turn out beautiful—showing a vibrant orange I didn't even know was there, Walter Proodian was also absolutely wonderful. He took the time to kindly explain what he noticed about the age and condition of my rug and set up expectations appropriately given how it had been taken care of over many… Read full review

Great communication, timely, and professional!

Walter and Geri were amazing to work with. They take so much pride in their work and have been at this for a long time. We had 2 area rugs and a 14’ sofa cleaned. The rugs were cleaned offsite and returned like new. The couch had a few pet stains on it and they came right out. I highly recommend Proodian!

Walter was terrific! One of the few oriental rug professionals around these days. Glad I chose this company.

Very nice company to work with. The carpet came out very nice. Found the prices to be cleaned more than what I paid for the rugs. I will not be back.

Amazing service! They saved my rug after a pet accident with same-day pickup and a prompt one-week turnaround. The rug looks perfect. They provided great updates throughout and the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an stress-free experience.

It was great working with Proodian. They were prompt, responsive and do a great job on our rigs. They did a great job cleaning, wrapping our rugs. And it was wonderful to have pickup and delivery.

Had Proodian Rug Cleaners clean and deodorize an area rug that had developed a smell from being wet. The price for the service was fair while the service and communication were excellent. Walter communicated quickly and was flexible with timing and was willing to wash the rug a second time since the deodorizer smell… Read full review

Since I moved to Boston from Washington DC I have taken my handmade wool rugs to Proodian. I thought I had a good rug cleaner in DC, but the rugs look better now then ever! I won’t take them anywhere else.

I have only had Walter clean my rugs and upholstery and never had the need to look elsewhere. His vast knowledge, quality work, attention to detail and outstanding communication/customer service skills are beyond amazing. Still happy today that I made that call many years ago.

My rugs and Upholstery look great. Walter cleaned my bedroom wall to wall carpets and got old stains out. My wool area rugs look new and my couch and pillows are great. Walter is extremely knowledgeable, was timely and friendly. Highly recommend them. You can’t go wrong ,

Proodian was friendly and professional. Kept in good contact with me throughout the service and the pick up/delivery was on time and efficient. The rug cleaning was excellent and he even took some significant extra time to tell me about my rug-which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Proodian.

Highly recommend. Efficient and very knowledgeable, Walter and his team walked me through the professional cleaning process (which I knew nothing about beforehand), and gave an old family area rug new life for us to enjoy in our home.
