These rugs are deeply meaningful to us, and getting them rehabbed was a special gift to my partner so we could finally enjoy them in our home.
Walter didn't just clean these rugs; he truly gave them a second life. It was an absolute pleasure meeting him, and I am so thrilled that I found his business. Proodian Rug Cleaners & Walter of the company are amazing & I highly recommend going to them for your loved rugs! Walter’s communication & sweet personality was deeply appreciated & you can tell he has a lot of love for what he does & his family’s legacy. My boyfriend & I brought in a vintage wool rug that had been peed on by our small chihuahuas. We wanted a safe option that wouldn’t bother our pets but also get those smells and stains out, & they did just that! Our rug came back looking beautiful & brand new, and our dogs haven’t been sniffing around or went to the bathroom on it(as a dog owner with rugs you get it)! We also learned that a lot of older rugs are dyed with vegetable and natural dyes while visiting which was cool to learn as we are both very interested in natural dyes. Thanks again Walter & team, much love

I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to make an exception for Walter at Proodian Rug Cleaners. We have a large, older custom wool rug that had been professionally cleaned in our home periodically over the years. Once we rolled it up, though, it became obvious just how much dirt had accumulated and, unfortunately, that there was considerably more pet urine than I realized.
The rug came back exceptionally clean. Having had it professionally cleaned on-site before, I can now say that off-site rug cleaning produces an entirely different level of clean.
Walter was knowledgeable, helpful and easy to work with, and the whole process, including pickup and delivery, was very easy. He also recommended replacing our old rug pad and had a new one cut specifically to fit the rug.
It wasn’t an inexpensive project, but after seeing the results, I’m very glad we had it done properly. I would absolutely use Proodian again.
