Our room-sized oriental rugs were deep cleaned and deodorized to our satisfaction. Not an easy task to remove them and get them back in place but it was well planned and well executed. Thank you!
Had a cashmere rug from Kuwait that had a lot of stains. They picked it up, and in a week or two, brought it back. Looks great, the process was easy.
I had a carpet that had been damaged by dog urine. I had tried several different products to clean it myself. I tried several other professional carpet cleaners. Proodian Rug Cleaners were the only company who got the urine stains out completely. Proodian Rug Cleaners took away the odor as well. Walter was amazing.…
Not only did my rug turn out beautiful—showing a vibrant orange I didn't even know was there, Walter Proodian was also absolutely wonderful. Our old wool rugs that get heavy traffic have never looked better! Thanks for conscientious work and pads cut to size that add to the warmth of both large rooms. On-time delivery and courteous treatment make this rug cleaning company a winner!
Walter did a great job cleaning 3 oriental rugs that our new puppy went on. Thoroughly cleaned and dried with pick up and delivery. It was expensive, but worth it.
We had not had our oriental rug cleaned since we bought it 20 years ago. We have pets and through the years there were pet stains unseen. Brought our rug to Proodian Rug Cleaners after much research. We called to have our area rugs cleaned. The pick up was prompt and the steps and cleaning options were thoroughly explained. Service was timely and very reasonably priced. The owner shared how he and his wife have been taking care of customers on the north shore for generations.
Walter cleaned three rugs for me. He was very responsive and kept me apprised of the pick up and delivery times. I was pleased with the attention to detail and my clean carpets!
Since I moved to Boston from Washington DC I have taken my handmade wool rugs to Proodian. I thought I had a good rug cleaner in DC, but the rugs look better now then ever! I won’t take them anywhere else.

I have used Proodian Rug for years to clean my Oriental’s. They are extremely responsive, coordinated pickups and deliveries quickly, and do an excellent job cleaning.
We had a burst pipe that caused the ceiling to come down- water, plaster, insulation swamped our living and dining room antique orientals. Proodian came out to assess the damage and gave us an estimate that was very fair. They took the rugs and performed miracles- the rugs came back refreshed, clean and all damage…
Walter and the team at Proodian Rugs were incredible! True rug and upholstery professionals and I cannot recommend them enough.
