Wanted to charge me twice to deliver a legal document because of a filing fee they were not prepared for. I offered to pay the filing fee however was convenient, but they insisted that the failed filing was a complete "attempt."

Bryan, The issue that led to the proposed additional fee was not due to an error in our delivery service, but rather the absence of the required court filing fee for documents your firm provided us. Once that was identified, a second job was necessary to properly complete the filing. A second trip to the courthouse is not a duplicate charge—it is a separate service required to get the job done.
