I tried Red Eye Fitness during Bring a Friend Week with my wife, mostly because I wanted to finally understand why she willingly pays money to be bullied into burpees, squats, and whatever other form of medieval torture they decide is “fitness” that day. Unfortunately, I get it now. My wife originally came to Red Eye after going through severe postpartum depression. At that point in our lives, telling her to “just get out of the house” or “go to the gym” wasn't exactly realistic. We had a newborn and an infant with significant medical needs, we didn't have sitters readily available, and she couldn't just leave the kids every time she needed an hour for herself. That's where Red Eye was different. Burpees & Babies gave her a place where she didn't have to choose between taking care of our kids and taking care of herself. She could bring them with her. She didn't have to find childcare, feel guilty about leaving them, or miss a workout because we didn't have anyone to watch them. And it wasn't treated like our kids were an inconvenience. They were welcomed. That alone gave my wife something she desperately needed during a really difficult season of our lives. But it also gave her something I don't think either of us expected other moms. She found women who understood the exhaustion, the postpartum emotions, the chaos of having little kids, and what it was like trying to find yourself again somewhere in the middle of all of it. They could understand and help her through things that I could support her with as her husband, but couldn't fully relate to in the same way. She started because she needed help with her mental health and needed somewhere she could actually go with our kids. She stayed because she found a community. Years later, they're still there celebrating her wins, supporting her through the hard stuff, pushing her to be better, and apparently bullying her into adding more weight to the bar when she was perfectly happy with the amount already on it. After finally experiencing Red Eye myself, I understand why she loves it so much. It's nothing like a standard gym where you put your headphones in, avoid eye contact, do your workout and leave. People actually know you here. They care if you show up. They notice when you don't. They want you to succeed. For our family, Red Eye gave my wife access to something she honestly wouldn't have had otherwise. When childcare, medical appointments, babies, and life made a traditional gym almost impossible, they gave her a way to still show up for herself kids and all. So yes, after years of wondering why my wife willingly pays people to torture her several times a week, I finally understand. She didn't just find a gym. She found a place that made room for her and our kids when she needed it most. Still not convinced the burpees were necessary, though. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 incredible community, amazing support, questionable definition of “fun,” and apparently the bullying comes free with your membership. 😂

Redeye Fitness is amazing gym and worth every penny. The owners Eric & Tracy are high character and high knowledge owners who genuinely care about every single member of the gym. The coaches are very knowledgeable and know how to push you beyond your limits. The other members have been nothing but kind, funny, and caring not only for me but also for my 8 yr old daughter who trains with Eric for lacrosse and flag football. It’s a very wholesome loving environment and the workouts have plenty of sweat equity.

I can’t say enough positive things about Red Eye Fitness! I started my journey at Red Eye during my third pregnancy and joined Burpees and Babies during my recovery from my third delivery (first C-section). I am now 10 months postpartum and can honestly say I feel the strongest I have ever felt. Red Eye is a family-friendly, supportive and non-judgmental environment where everyone is welcome. Whether you’re new to fitness or looking to focus on specific goals or reach a competitive level, Red Eye is the perfect place. The coaches take the time to get to know each member and encourage you to keep moving forward. Tracy has helped me to stay focused on my current goals and support my plan with focused nutrition. It’s not about perfection, but consistency and effort. I would absolutely recommend Red Eye Fitness!!!

2026- I’m starting my 4th year at Red Eye. I’ve really come a long way in the last three years. Our gym family has really grown and I truly enjoy working out with my friends during the week and hearing about their lives. We continue to do well-rounded workouts each week. The coaches explain every exercise thoroughly. If there is something I can’t do well due to my limitations, the coaches modify the exercise for you. Come join our gym. You’ll be happy you did!!! (2023)I joined Red Eye around 16 months ago. When I started I could barely do anything. I am so much stronger now. Red Eye is like being part of a big family. Everyone is so nice and supportive. Weight bearing exercises are so important for women along with cardio. Every class focus’s on different parts of the body. There are all ages at the classes and you can work at your own pace. Exercise really helps with the winter blahs!!!
