Our things were treated with care and respect. Everyone was kind. Everything was packed with care. The moving crew were efficient, personable and very clearly knew what they were doing. Pure professionals. And when we went to start unpacking everything, the boxes were taped so that you could just grab the little tab they left and all the tape came off with one good pull - amazing! I could not recommend them any more highly. Perfect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The experience using Ridgewood Moving, for the 5th time, was a very pleasant one. From booking the dates to pack and to do the actual move, they were always more than accommodating.
The crew of 5 respectful, friendly, and competent guys were also a pleasure to work with. They were methodically in their packing all of our belongings and we even had a few good laughs. The ability to move everything without any accidents was incredible.
We would recommend Ridegewood Moving for all of your moving needs.

We had a very negative experience with Ridgewood Moving from start to finish. The final cost came in about 60% more than what was quoted. Packing alone was 3x's the quote; the packing estimate was for 50 boxes, and the packers used 120. Similarly our move day was estimated for 7 hours, and I was charged for 12 hours. Everyone has been very nice with their apologies, but no one has offered to reduce the price we were charged for this move. Additionally, now that we are unpacking, it's a disaster. For example, the packers packed up 22 boxes for the kitchen, and only 3 were labeled: "dog stuff," "under sink," and "pots/pans." We recently discovered the movers failed to move 3 kitchen counter stools, a kitchen rug, and 2 large suitcases. We need to move back in 6 mos., and the company offered to give us a $750 discount for our move back (we were charged over $8k for this move).

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry to hear that your move did not meet the level of care and service that you expected from Ridgewood Moving.
Our culture is built around caring for our customers and their belongings, and we take your concerns about the packing, labeling, items left behind, and the final cost very seriously. We understand that moving is a significant and often stressful experience, and we never want a customer to feel that their concerns are simply met with an apology.
As the owner of Ridgewood Moving, I have personally reached out and left you a message because I would very much like the opportunity to speak with you directly, listen to your concerns, and better understand what happened.
We have been caring for families for nearly 60 years, and feedback like yours is important to us. We want to make this right in the best way we can and, most importantly, make sure you feel heard.
I hope we have the opportunity to speak.
