We have been going to the River Road Veterinary clinic for 44 years and can safely say that it is the very best we have ever dealt with and could not even think about going anywhere else. The service that these good folks deliver is nothing less than phenomenal . We have Great Pyrenees LGD's, working dogs,(4), We…
The entire staff is the sweetest and most professional ever. I’ve been going to RRVH for almost 25 years. Dr Kelly Chapman was the Vet /Proprietor. Now Dr his niece and husband, Dr Courtney & Chase Wheeler are following in his footsteps. Dr Courtney is a Vet and Chase runs the day to day practice, .You will…
Great place to bring your pet. We have always received the best needed care for Bubba Ray...I love it that they contact me to let me know when Bubba Ray needs any kind of well check up care.
Friendly welcome at reception, before and after appointment. Tristin and Dr. Ben very calm, friendly, helpful, clear in explaining things, didn't rush us even when we asked them to repeat information. We appreciate you!

Update Mar 2026 - Dr. Weaver is such a thorough, kind and empathetic person which is extremely important now that my lab Bear will be 16 years old. The assistants are also great. I highly recommend her and the convience of day care and son next door is priceless. ----orig----- The female Vet that Bear has is not…
River Road Veterinary took such great care of my girl, Zoe Jolie. Thank you to Dr. Brignac and staff for getting through what may be the worst part of 2026 and beyond - saying good bye to my good girl on 2/4/26. I recommend River Road Veterinary to anyone who has a pet they love and care for. This place shows…
River Road Veterinan’s are fantastic! Dr Trahan and staff are fantastic! Thank You all!
To say I am happy with the care the medical team has given my sweet Borzoi Louie would be the understatement of my life. I have worked with many vets, vet techs, and support staff team members. The whole entire team at River Road is by far and away the most INCREDIBLE and COMPASSIONATE animal healthcare team in…
Visit was excellent from front desk—Khalilah—to vet helper—Abby—to vet herself—Dr Wheeler. I’ve honestly never had such a positive vet experience. My old dog got the best care ever.
Dr Ben is always great and takes care of our dogs!
I would like to Thank Dr. Wheeler and staff for the service and recommendations that Sasha and myself..LOL received. Irony to a short story. I was bit by my neighbor's dog that got out, 30 mins prior to my appt. scheduled time. I arrived at the clinic, shared my morning event and was treated as well from the staff.…
