Unfortunately, our experience with Robin’s Place was extremely disappointing, especially when it came to communication. We really wanted this place to work. We liked the owners when we toured, liked the smaller childcare feel, and genuinely tried to give the benefit of the doubt when communication was difficult from the very beginning. Even getting basic information and enrollment paperwork required multiple follow-ups, despite discussing our son starting on a specific date. After our son’s first day, we were basically told that he “had a good day” and “didn’t nap.” That was it. No one could tell us what he ate for breakfast or lunch, how much he ate, what activities he did, or really anything about his day. We were told to “look in the app,” but the app showed that he had been given **6 oz of formula the entire day** and listed some snacks we had sent from home. When we asked staff directly for clarification or details about his eating/ meals no one could answer us. That as you can imagine, was extremely concerning to us as parents. We reached out to the owners because we wanted clarification and honestly hoped this was just a communication issue that could be fixed and given explanation. But, instead, the response was essentially, “Sorry his first day didn’t meet your expectations,” followed by an invoice. We still have never gotten an answer about what our son actually ate that day. If we are supposed to rely on the app for that information, then according to the app, he had 6 oz of formula and some snacks from home. That’s it. We completely understand that a first day may not go perfectly. We weren’t expecting perfection. We were expecting basic communication about our child’s care like promised during our tour. The biggest issue for us was that the lack of communication wasn’t just a bad first day experience. It was a pattern that started before enrollment and continued once our son was actually in their care. We kept giving the benefit of the doubt because we really wanted this place to work, but after picking up our child and having no one able to tell us anything meaningful about his day, we simply did not feel comfortable sending him back. If you are looking for childcare, I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about how they communicate with parents and how meals, bottles, naps, and daily activities are documented before enrolling. For us, communication is non-negotiable when it comes to our child, and unfortunately, this experience did not give us confidence.

Well I wouldn’t say it’s horrible! We do a lot of good things helping families with all their childcare needs. We are a 4 star center! We have flexible tuition rates to help families save money! Our owner/director, Erin, provides her personal cell number to each family so they can get the help they need immediately and on a personal level. I don’t believe we’ve had any contact with you about any concerns you may have had. If you truly are a former family of ours, we certainly don’t remember aanyinteractions with you!
