The service is expensive, and there is no one available at the location to meet in person. The response from the mobile number provided is also unsatisfactory. The waiting time for the first BTW practice is far too long, and there seems to be no priority given to those who have already completed the 24-hour online…
My experience working with Safe Pass was wonderful! After having used another driving school for our first child, this experience was night and day. Communication was easy, timely and clear with Safe Pass. And the instructor Cassandra was also outstanding at communicating and so helpful when we reached out to her.…

We’d be interested to hear more about our “service being expensive”, especially in relation to the what you’ve seen for tuition for other driving instruction courses. We do everything we can to make our courses as accessible to as many folx as possible, including accepting the Drive to Succeed scholarship, accepting, grants from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, and providing a payment plan option through PayPal on our website We meet with students and their families each and every day, most often by appointment or right before or after lessons or classes. As we mention on our website, “Due to the nature of the driving school and the demand for Instructors, our classroom is not regularly staffed.” We also share that “Our goal is to address all inquiries with a text, email, or call within two business days, regardless of the initial form of contact,” and we find that we’re reaching that goal consistently. If your experience has been different, we do apologize, and we’d be grateful for the opportunity to connect and address whatever concerns or queries you might have! We are typically scheduling out new students to have their first behind the wheel lessons within about 4-5 weeks of receiving their registration, tuition, online course completion certificates (or having completed classroom lessons), and their availability questionnaire responses. We regularly update our first available lesson dates on the front page of our website, and we link to that on the registration page for each course we offer. We also have a handy Lesson Logistics page that is linked on each registration page for a deeper dive into our scheduling process, aiming to be as transparent as we can so that our students and their families are able to make the best decision for them In the meantime, we are also searching for and training some incredible new Instructors as well! We take great care with who we select and trust to get behind the wheel and in the classroom with our students, always aiming for high quality educators who are able to provide our students with a safe and affirming environment in which to learn and gain an increased sense of autonomy and independence To clarify, Safe Pass does not offer an online course. We have partnered with Costech, an online course driving school, since 2020 to offer our students who are unable to attend classroom lessons in person an alternative. We’re not entirely sure what you mean about who we give priority to, but again, we’d be grateful for the opportunity to connect about that as well! If you are a current or former student or the family member of a current or former student, we’d also welcome any thoughts you have about the driver education experience that we offer, as the core of our mission is “To provide education in safe motor vehicle operation in a safe, affirming, and supportive environment; to promote confidence, independence, compassion, and empathy in our students”. The instructor Dylan gave my daughter incorrect information regarding the maneuverability. Telling her she can pick the side to do the test on. He also didn't utilize the time correctly to help my daughter.

We do not have response hours on Saturday, which is why we are responding now 👍 While we’re definitely appreciative of your feedback, we do wish we had been able to connect directly first! While we do see your name, number, and email address attached to an incomplete registration from January of 2022, we don’t see your information connected to any students more recent than that. For the privacy and protection of our students, we are not able to share any information about a student (even whether they are or have been enrolled) if the student or that student’s legal guardian has not provided the appropriate permission for that communication. We are absolutely happy to give you a call and to provide information about how we instruct maneuverability, and we’re happy to share with you the resources we share multiple times with our students to help them practice maneuverability as they are preparing for the driving test! I absolutely loved safe pass! Huge shoutout to Dylan, he is such an amazing instructor and he’s great with providing you tips without aggression our anything. He made it really easy for me to be comfortable driving, and, make conversations outside of just driving and stuff. I appreciate him, and Safe Pass alot.
