The salesperson was helpful and transparent in helping me choose the right product for my needs while I was ordering. But the technician who installed the device wasn't transparent and didn't mention an additional charge for choosing a stand for the panel instead of a wall mount until the installation was complete.…
Our technician, Joseph Gabriel, was wonderful with the whole setup experience. He did an excellent job of walking us through the policy details and in showing us how to make the best use of our new security system. He was also very patient as we worked through some bumps with getting of the system pieces connected properly.

1 Star – A Security Company That Left Me Feeling More Unsafe Than Before I have never experienced such appalling customer service, especially from a company whose entire purpose is to make people feel safe in their own homes. I scheduled SafeStreets to install an ADT security system following a traumatic personal experience that left me feeling unsafe in my own home. I was looking forward to finally having some peace of mind. Instead, the technician arrived with an incredibly rude, unprofessional attitude. He entered my home without putting on protective shoe coverings, rushed me through important decisions regarding my security, and made me feel completely uncomfortable in my own home. His behavior was so unacceptable that I ultimately told him to leave. At that point, he attempted to convince me to proceed by offering two complimentary glass-break sensors. I declined and again instructed him to leave. But the worst part came afterward. I contacted ADT Corporate directly to request a different authorized installation company, only to discover that SafeStreets had placed a 30-day hold on my home address, preventing another ADT retailer from installing my security system. ADT Corporate confirmed the hold was associated with SafeStreets and told me they could not override it. So because I refused to tolerate disrespectful treatment in my own home, I am now unable to obtain the ADT security system I urgently need for an entire month. I am a homeowner who reached out to a security company for protection during an extremely vulnerable time. Instead of helping me feel safe, this company left me feeling even more vulnerable. As a business owner of nearly 20 years, I am absolutely stunned by this level of customer service and lack of accountability. A company that sells safety and peace of mind should never leave a customer feeling intimidated, disrespected, and blocked from obtaining security services. I would strongly caution anyone considering SafeStreets to think carefully before allowing their representatives into your home. This experience has been beyond disappointing, and I sincerely hope SafeStreets takes accountability and immediately removes the hold on my address.

But the technician who installed the device wasn't transparent and didn't mention an additional charge for choosing a stand for the panel instead of a wall mount until the installation was complete. They just threw that option in as a casual replacement for wall mounting and hardwiring the panel. I wish the technicians had been transparent with the pricing instead of hiding it. The worst part was that they'd already charged it to the credit card I used to order. I didn't want to argue, so I agreed to pay since it was already late in the evening and I wanted to get it over with.
