Over a year ago I tried to email them about 90 minute floats. Nothing. I tried again 6 months ago. Nothing. Now I find they are actually closed and looking for a new place, at least according to their website. Accurate? Not a clue. But if y’all actually need a float, good luck. Closest one might be Albuquerque direction.

Very cool and relaxing experience and the owner is very personable. It was clear that they keep the tanks very clean and I slept well that night (the epsom salt in the water has a lot of magnesium). Update 2/7/26: this place is still absolutely wonderful. We had an amazing infared sauna/cold plunge/float session today. I love this place so much and Carlos was so helpful and grounding. I plan to return to this studio every time I visit Durango.
This place is what you would call heaven on earth. Patti & Tiffany are both so friendly and welcoming. The place is spotless and serene. The feeling you get when you walk in is just pure calm. The float tanks are huge and exactly as they should be. I don't live in Durango but I plan on buying a punch pass and coming here every single time I come to town. It's just that good. I highly recommend giving this float studio a try.
Update January 2024 - Updating my review to say I went back to Salt 360 during my most recent return to Durango and it was better than I remember it. I wish I could go more often. The floats are life changing and the facility itself is just so calming and serene. Patti is a wonderful person who truly cares about her clients. She is so welcoming and supportive. Every town needs a place like this to float. You have to try it!

As someone who never seems to have two seconds to myself, I highly anticipated some “alone” time. Carlos and crew have a lovely facility providing what most of us lack in the day to day…peace and calm.
The sensation of weightlessness in the water, and the dark, quiet environment led to a unique, relaxing experience uninterrupted by daily life. Floating allowed time for introspection and planning, along with the ability to simply be…as there isn’t anything else demanding your attention.
The only improvement, and reason for four stars instead of five, would have been warmer water (I tend to prefer hotter than average), which I later learned from Carlos is a completely doable request.
If you are similar and like the heat, consider requesting a warmer temperature when booking.
If you’re busy, stressed, suffer from pain issues, or simply need some “alone” time, stop reading and go book yourself a float. Your mind and body will thank you.
Mine sure did.
