Dr. George Anast is the greatest and kindest doctor I have ever met in my entire life. We love him, and thank our lucky stars for having him as our Vet!

Had a previous bad experience, should’ve never called again. Lesson learned.

Dr. Anast and Dr. Trujillo are amazing and truly love what they do, wish I could say the same for the cranky cashier. Make sure you aren’t running late for your appointments, cause they’ll waste your time right back. Before I go on, I would like to say I understand running late to appointments is bad etiquette, but sometimes things out of your control happen. I called the office in advance to let them know I was running behind, and already my partner peeped the bad attitude from the lady who answered the phone. I would also like to preface that I wasn’t told not to come in on the phone nor asked to reschedule.
When I arrive, I was stared down while walking in rather than greeted. I say hello, no response back. The lady up front (who I assume I spoke with on the phone) just stares at me and then decides to very dramatically look at the clock. I tell her I understood my cat and I were a little late, to which she only responds “really late”. It was kind of awkwardly silent so I try to explain what happened. Not met with any response, *I* pretty much had to offer a reschedule and she said she could “try that”. Listen, I understand having a bad day and all, but it’s a Friday and you gotta have a good attitude for a job like this no matter how old you are. Also why am I the one having basically doing your job for you? Besides, even last time we took our cat here for a dental visit we weren’t met with the friendliest attitude from a lady working the desk (once again, probably the same woman).
I would however fully recommend the vets’ services just because me and my family have been coming to Sandy Hill for forever now, just be prepared to be the bigger person if you’re met with an older woman up front in glasses. Hopefully she has a better day when you come in.

BEWARE!!! Don’t waste your time,money, and most importantly your pets health on this place! I’ve been going there for many years, without any major issues until recently! In the last 3 months been there 3 times spent over 2,000! My German Shepherd Who had developed skin irritation with black sores, itching constantly bad smell odor coming from her and she had a earache He did a biopsy would give her a shot and put some medication in her ear! It would work for about a week or 2 than start right back up! So this was on going and doctor just says well this is the worst season for allergies and to shave her! He got an attitude when I said I’m not shaving my German Shepherd what else can be done? He said if you would let me speak and then looks at my husband and says I Enormously feel bad for you happen to be married to her! Well that was it that doctor needs to retire and should never speak to anyone that way! He doesn’t like being questioned on his service AT ALL!! I think if I pay you to get my dog well I should be able to ask questions!!!!!!!
