Staged to Sell & Design in Seattle did a beautiful job with a blended stage for our home. They elevated our existing design style, added softness and warmth and so much art. The staff/design team was a pleasure to work with, and Shirin referred a painter that did a great job. We received two offers and were pending after only four days on the market. I know the home was well-presented thanks to Staged to Sell!

It made a difference, not just how beautifully it showed, but clearly in how it felt when people walked in. They transformed the space that people could instantly connect with. The space was warm, inviting, and emotionally connected and I am certain that contributed to the outcome. The best part was they are incredibly responsive, kind, and clearly committed to what they do. I am so grateful for the experience and would recommend them to anyone who is preparing to sell their home.

We are a repeat client of Seattle Staged to Sell and Design, primarily on the design side. This has included full design updates to several rooms, selecting paint, a custom built-in, and making many smaller design refinements based on ideas they’ve shared along the way. It’s clear Shirin and her team take a lot of pride in developing custom designs that are perfect for each client. They’ve developed a thoughtful process that takes into account your individual design preferences, the style of your home, budget constraints, and functional needs (such as dog or kid friendly). They also consistently go above and beyond for clients. For example, we were still deciding on furniture when we found out prices were going to jump significantly in a few days because of tariffs. Shirin went through major heroics to help us finalize our decisions and get the orders placed, helping us stay in budget. We love spending time in our newly designed home and would definitely use/recommend Shirin and her team again!

ABSOLUTELY 5 STARS!!!! Last winter, I contacted Seattle Staged to Sell & Design to help me get my house ready for the Spring Market. Shirin, the company owner, came over, walked through, and wrote down key points on the best approach to display the house. Her talent, skills and attention to details are constantly striving for perfection from exterior paint colors to interior finishes— SSSD made sure no detail was left behind. In a week, the house was fully and beautifully staged from the entryway to the backyard. The team’s expertise in enhancing the house's strengths and creating alternatives for the blank spots created an inviting, spacious, and modern atmosphere. The results were fabulous, and the house was sold in a week! Thanks, SSSD, from the bottom of my heart! Silvana

Dear Silvana, Thank you for taking the time and writing this review and sorry it took us a while to reply back. We are so happy that you liked the staging design and were able to sell your home so fast and successfully in a difficult market. We know how hard it is to sell a home with memories and move. We are happy that we were able to help with the transition and make it a bit easier for you and your family. We wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life. Thanks again for trusting your home in our hands. Best, Shirin

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Seattle Staged to Sell for over 10 years, and they continue to exceed my expectations with every project. Their professionalism is unmatched — they approach each home with fresh eyes, strategic insight, and a true understanding of how to highlight a property’s best features. What sets them apart is their ability to problem-solve creatively, whether a space needs clever furniture placement, updated styling, or a complete transformation. Their communication is excellent from start to finish — collaborative, responsive, and always willing to brainstorm until we get it just right. SSTS's commitment to excellence shows in every detail. They never settle for “good enough,” and their experience allows them to anticipate what will resonate with today’s buyers. Over the years, their staging has played a key role in helping me achieve record-breaking results for my listings, time and time again. They are always elevating their furnishings to stay on current and on trend. I can’t recommend Seattle Staged to Sell enough. They bring the perfect mix of creativity and strategy, professionalism and warmth — and they truly care about making every home look its absolute best.

Dear Kelly, Thank you for taking the time to write this gracious and generous review. We know how busy you are. As I always say, one of the reasons that we love what we do is because we get to meet with people such as yourself, that otherwise we would not have. You are one of them. With every project, we see how hard you work to create success for your clients and how you bat for them. We always follow your lead. It is an honor to work with such a savvy agent as you and support your clients. We love working with you and we always learn from you too. Thanks again, Kelly. This means a lot. With gratitude, Shirin

I am a repeat customer of Seattle Staged to Sell for good reason. After I bought my house 11 years ago, I was lucky to connect with Shirin who moved me out of paralysis around artwork placement and picking exterior paint colors that not only complemented the brick but also brought lots of compliments from neighbors. When I decided to sell my house wanted to get it on the market as soon as possible it was a no brainer to go with SSTS again. They were super flexible on fitting my job in and making adjustments following delays in window installs and interior painting. I requested a combination staging using their stock and selections of my furniture and artwork so I could delay moving my pieces until I had space for them. I really appreciated their expertise in knowing what was working in my local housing market and making very practical and stunning staging designs that resulted in receiving multiple competing offers on the house after just a few showings. Highly recommend!

We wish you all the best in your next chapter of your life. Best, Shirin

Seattle Staged to Sell markets themselves as highly professional, but our experience was a case study in arrogance and denial of responsibility. They took multiple pieces of our personal furniture and décor during de-staging and then acted as though it was somehow our fault for not reporting it fast enough. The missing items included sentimental pieces that were never returned. What’s astonishing is how little effort was made to repair the situation. Rather than prioritizing an apology or proactive resolution, their first communication was a demand for payment — while our belongings were still missing. Even once items were eventually located, no meaningful concession was offered. They refused to acknowledge the seriousness of their mistake and minimized it at every turn. Blaming the customer (“you should have told us sooner”) while holding onto our property is unacceptable. A reputable company would take ownership, apologize without conditions, and offer fair compensation. Instead, SSTS nickel-and-dimed us, hid behind their contract, and shifted blame. If you want to deal with a company that talks down to its clients, charges top dollar for mediocre work, wastes your time, and shows zero accountability when they make serious mistakes, then this is the staging company for you. For everyone else: stay far away.

Response from the owner · a year ago

Dear Jonathan, I’m going to post the same respond as Miriam since you both posted a review here. We have been in business for 20 years and we are known for our customer service and client care. Relationships matter to us. There is a reason that our first client and our first employee are still with us.

Your agent, Jennifer Flood, is a dear client of ours and we went the extra ten miles to assist her with this project. We offered you 100% three months deferred initial payment at no extra cost to you. When the house was not sold, we extended the rental fee to be deferred as well.

To start, you notified us FIVE weeks after we had destaged your house. I would like to clarify that your decor items, which were similar to our staging decor, were located and returned to you as soon as we were made aware. We never took the mirror, was not even at the house. Additionally, we don't have anything that heavy in our inventory either. Regardless, we paid you in full, including taxes so that you could order a replacement from the store.

We accepted a blended staging, which is extremely challenging to execute for many reasons, and mixing inventory is one of them. We always create a list of every item and for this project a mistake. Our junior designer mislabeled some of your own decor items that are similar to our own, and were taken by mistake. Most cases, we leave our inventory behind and clients are kind enough to let us know. In cases where we take any items by mistake, clients notify us promptly and we return those immediately. You notified us five weeks later. We would have been able to return those to you sooner if we had been notified earlier.

We staged your home in March and we didn't get our payment until September. This is a hardship on small businesses. In addition, as a courtesy to your agent and to make it up to you, we didn't add any late or interest fees based on our contract. Your account was months past due.
Throughout the whole process, we were communicative and responsive. We did our utmost to make this right and make you whole.

Every relationship counts and we are sorry that this was not the case here. We apologize for our error, we are happy that we were able to make it right for you. We could not give you any more discounts since the account was extremely past due.

We wish you all the best.
