Nice owner and easy booking but wouldn't reuse services. Especially for a "move-out clean." I had a 2 bedroom, 800 sq ft apartment. Was told after my walkthrough that if I find someone who would do it for lower rate but still wanted to work with Serenade, she would work with me on the price. We found two quotes that would do it for less than the estimated $450 ($75/hr) When my husband asked her assistant for a lower rate, he was told they wouldn't do it for any lower. For whatever reason, laziness or him just being nice, idk, he continued to book with them which was a sore point between us. After reviewing the work I was disappointed because some things were neglected. The shelf in my pantry and the inside of multiple drawers in kitchen not cleaned, lots of debris still under the sink, I don't think the front of the bottom cupboards were cleaned, the facet in the tub and shower head didn't look like it was cleaned at all. So I used vinegar and water on them and they looked a lot better. I then used a magic eraser on the shelf of the tub where it looked dirty and that looked ten times better. I used to clean houses and hotels in previous jobs and was held to high standard. I had to scrub inside of toilets with gloves whereas it looked like just a brush was used on this. This company only uses non-toxic cleaning agents so I guess you can't expect things to look pristine. I don't know yet if the inside of my oven will pass my landlords standards. We would've paid more for the oven if it meant extra work but that wasn't offered. I'm pregnant and didn't want to clean that myself. I honestly didn't think I would need to do any extra cleaning after them spending 6hrs and charging $450. The outside of my black fridge was also scratched up from whatever cloth/cleaner they used. Inside of fridge, microwave, stove top, sink, base boards, window/sills all looked good. I don't like leaving reviews like this but I think folks should know what there are in for especially in terms of move-out cleans which landlords often have high stands for. Probably best to use them for just basic cleaning.
*Update in response to owner. There was only one drawer with utensils in it. One. And I didn't expect them to do that drawer but the other three were empty and not cleaned by them. Nothing was in the cupboards. The cupboard under the sink had a small box of dishwasher pods left for the next tenant. that's it.

I personally completed the walkthrough with you and was part of the cleaning team. During our conversation, we discussed that a 4–6 hour service window may not bring a unit to full property-management “like-new” standards, particularly where there is long-term hard water buildup, interior oven detailing, or areas that still contain personal items. You shared at the time that you were grateful for the help and understood that some items might need follow-up afterward.
We do offer flexible support for clients navigating tight budgets or particularly demanding life seasons, and I shared during the walkthrough that my intention was to be supportive and help where possible. Those conversations work best when we’re able to clearly align, ahead of time, on how service hours, scope, and pricing will be handled, so that care and expectations stay in balance for everyone involved.
For move-out cleans, our team makes one comprehensive pass through the home within the agreed service hours, prioritizing overall cleanliness and sanitation. Some areas mentioned in your review (such as drawers and cupboards) still contained items at the time of service, and we made a judgment call to focus our time on accessible areas rather than removing and replacing belongings, in order to stay within scope.
Regarding the bathroom and fixtures: hard water buildup and mineral etching often require repeated visits to significantly diminish, especially when using non-toxic products. While these methods protect surfaces and finishes, they do have limits in a single visit. More abrasive or chemical-based products can create a different appearance, but they are not part of our service standard.
We strive to be transparent about our process, pricing, and limitations so clients can choose the level of service that best fits their needs. While I regret that the outcome didn’t align with your expectations, I appreciate the opportunity to clarify our approach for others reading this.
