Now that my husband and I have been married a year, we wanted to recommend Ed and his team to anyone looking into capturing their special day! We are so incredibly grateful for our wedding Ed! From start to finish, he hit all of our marks: affordable, easy to work with, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. He listened to what we hoped for, offered helpful suggestions, and made everything feel effortless on the big day. Our recap video turned out to be an absolute dream come true—it perfectly captured the joy, emotion, and beauty of our wedding. Every time we watch it, we're transported right back to those special moments. Ed and his partners talent and heart shine through in every frame. I had an amazing photography session with Ed at the SF courthouse! I first met Ed years ago when I lived in San Francisco during my modeling days, and reconnecting for this shoot felt like no time had passed. This time, however, it was even more special—because I was with my fiancé! It had been a few years since I last modeled, but working with Ed again reminded me why he’s so great at what he does. He’s a master at posing—if you’re unsure what to do, he’ll guide you effortlessly so you never feel awkward in front of the camera. I can’t recommend him enough! Not only is he incredibly talented and kind, but he also delivers photos within 24 hours, knows the best angles, and always captures you in the most flattering light. If you need a photographer, Ed is your guy!

I hired Ed to do a professional headshot and family portraits in the Fall of 2024. First of all, I really like his style and colors on his website compared to other local photographers I found. Ed was attentive and on the day of our initial meetup, it was slated to be over 100 degree in the south bay. He texted me in the morning and then mid-day to gauge how I was feeling about the temperature! Wow I knew I was going to be impressed with him by the level of care that he gives. We ultimately reschedule for another day, because he nor I wanted to be sweaty for our photos. When we finally met, Ed made my family felt so comfortable and relax. It is challenging for me to get my teenage girls to smile in front of my camera, but he was able to capture their best smiles. He talked with us and really made us feel at ease. My professional headshot also turned out beautifully. He had captured the natural lighting of the outdoor environment and made it look like it was a studio photo. I don't know how he does it, but he knows what he is doing with natural lighting. He is by far our family's most favorite photographer and hope to use him again!

Ed has been my go-to for multiple graduation and family photo shoots. He has a great eye for locations, and it's always something new. I was so impressed at the smiles he coaxed out of my autistic daughter! We get digital access to the photos quickly, and after I've narrowed it down to a few pictures (the hard part!) I have digitals to have printed however suits my needs for the event.

We cannot thank Ed enough for capturing our special day and creating a video beyond our wildest dreams to commemorate it! At first, my wife and I were not going to get a videographer for our wedding. Our wedding funds were quickly dwindling, and it was a cost we did not think we could swing. About a month or two before the wedding, we felt a strong desire to have some video footage of the day but needed it to be budget-friendly. We went to a popular Bay Area wedding Facebook group and asked for a budget-friendly videographer. Ed responded, and we were able to easily set up a video call. Ed prefers video calls, which shows his attentiveness and dedication to his clients. During our first call, he showed us his prior work, which was stunning. He explained his usual pricing, which was way outside of our budget. We were able to negotiate certain video features to lower the price. On the day of, he showed up on time and was super attentive to us. He worked with our photographer to film our first look, ceremony, first dance, speeches, and much more. Our wedding was in September 2024, and we had the completed video in early November 2024. We watched the video and were SO HAPPY with the final product. He is truly talented and his passion for his art shows through in his product. I cannot recommend Ed enough! I am so thankful he responded to our Facebook post, and I highly recommend working with him for your big day!! Thank you Ed!!!!

I honestly can't recommend Ed and ECG Studios enough! From the very start, the entire experience felt effortless and enjoyable. Ed took the time to really listen to us--he asked thoughtful questions about what mattered most and the kind of moments we hoped to see in our video. It felt like he genuinely cared about capturing the heart of our day, not just documenting an event. He took our ideas and turned them into something even more beautiful than we could've imagined. On our wedding day, Ed was an absolute pleasure to work with. He blended in so naturally that it felt like having a friend there, rather than a videographer. We never felt like the camera was intrusive, yet somehow he managed to capture every little moment, even the ones we didn't realize were happening. It was like he was always in the right place at the right time, but without ever making us feel staged or on display. When we watched the final film, it truly took our breath away. The quality was stunning, but even more than that, the way Ed pieced together all the emotions and memories made us feel like we were reliving the day in the most heartfelt way. We laughed, we cried, and we were reminded of all the love and joy that filled those moments. It wasn't just a wedding video; it was our story, told with such heart and artistry. If I can offer any advice, it's this: just follow Ed's lead and trust his process. He knows what he's doing, and his vision will exceed your expectations. I was already very familiar with Ed's great work as a photographer, so I knew our wedding photos would be beautiful, and they were! However, he went above and beyond gorgeous photography. From the day we booked him to our wedding day, I really felt like he had our back and made sure we had the best and easiest experience possible. We found him to be an excellent communicator, well prepared, and proactive in guiding us through the whole process.
