I found them through Thumbtack and had Ben come over for an estimate. He was very courteous and understanding of my needs was very patient and explaining all costs and tried everything To make installation cost effective work for me, unfortunately I ended up using another company, but would definitely recommend them for future work

Definitely truly recommend Ben! He’s very responsive and willing to work with you. His prices are fair!

I felt a bit scammed with these guys. I had high hopes from all of the positive reviews, but little did I know they would deliver an incomplete product. We asked for the frame to be repaired along with the garage door. But they were not upfront that replacing the frame did not include aluminum capping to protect the… Read full review

After submitting a request on Thumbtack, I was bombarded with calls from dispatcher- like people. I was so glad a local company called me instead. My parents' garage door has been broken for months. They're both older and dealing with a lot, so the door hasn't been addressed. Seeing my dad struggle to open the door and prop it up with a piece of wood was the last straw. I called Smart Garage Door after reading Google reviews. Daniel arrived the same day,… Read full review

Amazing customer service along with fast repair. Would highly recommend anyone who is on a budget. There work is amazing and affordable!

Daniel was amazing and so polite. He actually didn’t have to come here at all to Lake Grove, New York. He walked me through what to do in order to fix my garage door. It was such an easy fix. How many contractors do you know that would do that? He spent time on the phone with me and didn’t even make a dime.

I worked with Daniel for the estimate—he’s a great guy with excellent customer service. He was able to meet my needs and budget without compromising quality at all. Luca came out the very same day at 6 PM and had the entire system installed by 7:45. Both of my garage doors were set up with remote operation, a mobile… Read full review
