Many note that the shop avoids unnecessary upselling and resolves issues that dealerships could not fix. Tony & his team at Solar are awesome & honest. Sent my 2005 Sequoia in for intermittent VCS lights coming on. Turning the vehicle off & a restart clears issue for a bit & then it returns sometimes but not until days later. Unfortunately they were not able to duplicate the problem & did not charge anything for their time. I really appreciate a shop like theirs and will continue to utilize them for any future repairs. After asking the Hyundai dealership about fixing an electrical glitch in my 2015 Sonata and getting a $250 quote to “take a look,” I called Solar Automotive. They fixed a simple switch problem and charged me nothing. Zip. Zero. Solar now has a new customer and advocate for a company interested more in service than gouging someone’s pocketbook.
