Very disappointing experience from start to finish. I booked a 60-minute foot massage. I walked into the store at 3:36 PM and even used the restroom before the massage started, so the actual massage began sometime after 3:36. By 4:28 PM, the therapist had already stopped and started cleaning up, and at exactly 4:30 PM, the check was handed to me. There is simply no way I received the full 60 minutes I paid for. The massage itself was extremely disappointing. I specifically booked a foot massage, but there was barely any actual work on the soles of my feet. Most of the session consisted of repeatedly rubbing oil over my feet and lower legs using essentially the same motion. The therapist also seemed distracted and would zone out during the massage. It felt more like someone applying oil than actually giving a foot massage. I was also assigned a male therapist without anyone asking whether I was comfortable with a male or female therapist or giving me a choice. I would have appreciated being asked beforehand. Or the therapist is the same gender as me. What bothered me even more was the checkout experience. Despite cutting my session short and providing such inattentive service, they proactively brought up the tip and specifically emphasized that I should leave one. I understand tipping is customary, but repeatedly emphasizing a tip to a customer, especially after not even providing the full service time made me felt very pushy and uncomfortable. Overall, I paid for a 60-minute foot massage and received neither the full time nor the quality of service I expected. Between the shortened session, minimal actual foot massage, distracted service, lack of choice regarding the therapist, and the pressure for a tip at checkout, I would not return. One more thing worth mentioning: they have a sign offering $5 off in exchange for a 5-star review. Just something to keep in mind when reading the reviews here.

We understand your concern regarding the service time and will review the timing with the therapist. Our foot massage includes the soles,feet,ankle,and lower legs. Massage techniques and styles may vary from therapist to therapist. We understand that style may not have met your expectations. Regarding tipping, tips are always completely optional at spring foot spa. Our staff may ask whether the customer would like to leave a tip. But we never require or force anyone to do so. If the wording was unclear due to a language difference, we regard the misunderstanding. Customers are also welcome to request a male or female therapist and we will always do our best to accommodate that preference based on availability. Our customers always free to leave honest feedback based on their own experience and we respect every customer’s rights to share their genuine opinion. We take customers feedback seriously and will continue working to improve our service and communication.
