Stairhopper Movers - Boston

Having used Stairhoppers several times, I highly recommend. They treat your stuff like it’s their own and they are experts at IKEA furniture, both disassembling and assembling! Love them!!

My family has used Stairhopper twice and had great experiences both times. The first time they were on time, helped pack our items, disassembled furniture and moved our things into our new place. They did an excellent job, moving efficiently and leaving things organized in our home. We used them a second time to… Read full review

On time, ready to work and handled my items with care. Thank you Stairhopper

I’ve used stair hoppers twice now and they’ve been great. It’s easy to talk to a human if you need customer service. they’ve always done a good job, given me good advice about how to pack things properly so they don’t break and been punctual. I definitely recommend.

Prompt, prepared , personal and professional. This five-star review is for the move-in by Andre, Douglas and Hido. A big ask that included a lot of stairs in the summer heat that these fine men delivered on fantastically! Will use again and highly recommend!

John D. and his team were incredible and made the whole day stress free. The team was careful, and incredibly efficient (and that’s not the easiest combo to master!) would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a fantastic moving team!

Stairhopper was extremely punctual and the movers were extremely punctual, polite and careful while working at a great pace. Our son had recommended Stairhopper for price and efficiency and we experienced the same thing. Definitely recommend!

Easy booking, great service and communication. Teams arrived on time for both packing and moving and did a fantastic job. Treated everything with care and respect and will definitely use Stair hopper movers again in the future

These people were on time, treated our belongings with extraordinary professional care, and were so easy to work with. We worked with a team that loaded and another that unloaded. Both were friendly and immediately responsive to questions and specific requests.

I’ve used Stairhoppers three times and they are never short of amazing!

The crew showed up on time, and were very polite. They emptied an entire 10x15 storage unit full of boxes, totes, furniture, and numerous free standing items in about an hour, and drove it to another unit and unpacked it just as quick. They handled the items with good care, and were very efficient. Highly recommend.

Best movers ever. We have used them many times and will never use another mover. They are fast and professional. Never has anything ever been damaged.

I had pick up and storage overnight and then delivery to new condo. Same guys on both trips. Sebastian and his helpers were amazing. I am sorry I do not remember the other names. But that is me not them. My brain and moving is mush. lol

Fantastic!!! Isaac and Almos are wonderful and worked SO hard in the heat. Very professional. HIGHLY recommend!

I have used Stairhoppers for multiple moves and would always recommend them. The crews show up on time, work carefully and quickly, and take incredible care of your things. Everyone is helpful, hard working, efficient, and professional. They get the job done and do it well. I can’t recommend them enough.

Reliable, friendly, pleasant and very efficient. An excellent experience.

I had movers cancel on me and Stairhoppers were available at the last minute to help pack my UBox. They showed up on time and were able to get my UBoxes packed before UHaul came to take them even though it was a quick turn around for them. They were super efficient and packed the box expertly and got everything… Read full review

Used them twice recently and they were great! Quick, timely, friendly and very skilled at moving in tight spaces and navigating narrow halls! Would use them again!

Very reasonable pricing, excellent communication throughout. Our crew: Adrain, Sebastian, Levi and Castillo were efficient, thorough, patient and respectful of our belongings and home. We will be recommending them to others (and hope not to be moving again any time soon!).

Stairhopper Movers was incredible to work with this weekend! We had a fairly complicated move from Wilmington to North Andover and then into Boston, and William and his team handled everything with care, speed, and professionalism. I have used these guys few times for clients and they never disappoint! Easy communication with the office, friendly and efficient crew, always on time.

Well worth the money. My movers Isaac, Franco, and Antonio were excellent. They showed up at the beginning of the schedule window, were friendly and professional, and swift. All told it took just two hours for them to disassemble all the furniture and load all my boxes into the truck, and barely an hour when we… Read full review

Stairhoppers were amazing! I moved yesterday and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The movers were quick, efficient, and so friendly! Will definitely be hiring them again for any other moves, 10/10 recommend!

Stairhoppers honestly exceeded my expectations. The movers were so efficient and kind too. I had my belongings put in a storage unit and they organized it SO well and made what I needed accessible easy to get to quick. I really appreciate the help I received and I feel like the price was more than fair!

These guys were great! Arrived at the beginning of the designated time and carefully packed my belongings in my absence. Unloaded at a storage area and my new apartment without incident. I will definitely hire them again.

The three gentlemen from Stairhopper Movers were wonderful! They were organized, efficient, skilled at packing, and completed the work within the estimated time and budget. I have used several different movers over the years, and this was by far my best experience.

Another well-executed move with Stairhopper. Friendly and hardworking crew, on time and ready to help with anything. Labor costs are very reasonable but the fees for using their tape, boxes, blankets can get high if you don’t plan ahead and have lots on hand for them.

I've used Stairhoppers before and I won't use anyone else. I had a two part move from my house to a storage facility to the new house and they were excellent. Zero stress, on time and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. They are the best there is.

As a real estate agent, it is important that any business I refer my clients to are top tier. I’ve used Stairhopper several times personally and recommend them to all of my clients. I have yet to find better movers. Thank you 🙏

Reliable, efficient, and friendly team. They packed up my place quickly and carefully and handled storage seamlessly. Everything was well organized and stress-free. Highly recommend.

StairHopper moved us to our new home in Milford from a local storage company. They communicated with us and made sure everything was on schedule. They handled all of our furniture and belongings with care. They were efficient and it made the experience so convenient. I would highly recommend them for your next move. We will use them again!

They were fabulous! The team was very kind, nice and professional. Toward the end of the moving, we were a bit concerned, because we wanted to bring a king size bed to second floor but it seemed too big to go through our stairs. So we even asked if it is too complicated, just tell us. But they carefully disassemble… Read full review

The workers that arrived where punctual and very professional.

Our moving team was fast, friendly, professional and just the best moving experience we have had with over 13 moves across 5 states in about 10 years or so. Definitely hope to use them again if we stay in state.

Stairhoppers provided a fast quote, excellent communications via text, phone and email. The crew was very careful packing up a theater set which went from Boston to NYC the next day. The same crew were equally careful and helpful getting everything into a tricky space. Payment and contract were handled in an iPad with no hidden charges.

Last week I moved out of my Boston property, with all my earthly possessions... and there were a lot of them! Stairhopper's did an outstanding job, orchestrated by foreman Marius Balan and his able bodied crew. Caring, efficient and knowledgeable they kept their good humor throughout a long 2 days. They were still… Read full review

Great experience! Efficient, professional, and all for a great price. I would recommend them to anyone.

Did a cross-country move from Boston to Chicago. Stairhopper Movers made it super easy. They came and disassembled / wrapped all our furniture with blankets, etc.; stored our stuff at their site for 3 weeks until our lease in Chicago started; and then drove it to our place and unpacked / reassembled everything with… Read full review

Third time using stair hoppers movers for a 2Bd move. First in 2015 and again in 2016 and now again in 2025. Each time, I am more impressed. The care with which they take and the quality of the work that they do truly is unmatched. Thank you, Stair Hoppers and thank you to Nelson and team! I will absolutely be using you again.

The 3 movers showed up a few mins early and got started right away. They worked fast and were super efficient. They wrapped and secured everything. They were accommodating and beat my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for moving help.
