I can’t say enough wonderful things about Pedram and our experience with Believe in Dog’s Puppy Day School Part 1! Pedram is truly exceptional at what he does. His patience, kindness, knowledge, and genuine love for dogs really shine through in his work. It has been such a joy watching my puppy grow, learn, and…
Believe in Dog is not just good. It is singular. No one loves dogs more than the people here do, and your dog will love them right back. It’s a common joke in our house that we occupy a comfortable third place on Caper’s list of favorite people, behind his favorite BID trainers. That feels fair. They have poured so…
We just finished our dog training. Both Valeria and Alyssa "AV" were fantastic! Our dog has learned so much and now we just have to practice more. Thanks for all your help!!
I unexpectedly rescued two dogs from the street at separate times within a year from each other! Taking both of them to doggie class at BID has truly been the best experience for all of us. With the stresses of life, I love going to school with each of my dogs since it also allows me to have a brain break:) I…
Reactive Rover Class - We had such a great experience with the Reactive Rover class! When we started the class, Mullen was reactive toward people, and I wasn’t always sure how to help him feel more confident in those situations. This class taught us so much about understanding his body language, recognizing his…
I can't say enough great things about Believe in Dog! The staff, facilities, and training program have all been incredible. They truly get to know every dog and give each one so much individual attention. Alyssa was an amazing trainer for our Puppy Class Part 1...her passion for dogs shines through in every class,…
Wonderful training center! Amazing staff!
Believe in dog (BID) has done so much for me and my dogs! My dogs Rocky and Moose have both struggled with different levels of fear with strangers. It was really hard for me emotionally to see them struggle and not know how to help them. We went in circles trying different training methods. Thankfully, BID has…
I cannot recommend Believe in Dog Training highly enough! A friend told me about it and I'm so glad I tried it. Taking some private classes and then the Reactive Rover course has been incredible. Before we took classes at Believe in Dog, I was discouraged and felt stuck. I didn't know how to handle my dog's bad…
Trainers are great, and very friendly! We are currently doing some intro classes for our 2 year old mix that we rescued about a year ago, and she is picking everything well. I recommend them if you're considering signing your pup up for training classes.
We have done 3 classes at Believe in Dog: Basic training, intermediate training, and most recently the Fitness class. All were so fun and great for my dog! She gained confidence and we bonded. The Fitness class was great because she stood on different structures, jumped, walked backwards and more. It was also good…
Doggy Fitness! We just wrapped up the 6 week course of doggy fitness and had the best time. I was a little nervous about the length of class (1.5 hrs), but my pup proved he could do it since it was all about the fun! Our trainers were Valorie and Jae - they were 10/10 helpful! Our pup is a 3 year old whippet. We…
We have done multiple classes at Believe in Dog and each has been better than the next! From basic puppy skills to our most recent class - Doggie Fitness - each has helped teach us (the pawrents and our dogs) new skills and help reinforce old ones. Doggie fitness, one of their speciality classes, has been the most…
We love Believe in Dog! We brought our dog, Walker, here to work on his reactivity to other dogs. We loved working with Megan in our 1-on-1. She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and made us feel very welcome and supported. We also enjoyed attending the Pre-Reactive Rover Class to help practice Walker’s new…
We are so happy with our results from the reactive rover training! We learned so many new tools that we can use to better help our dog in her reactive moments. I love how knowledgeable and kind the trainers are! I highly recommend this facility! They use positive reinforcement which is amazing and works! 😊
We took a basic manners class & loved it. The place is very spacious with fun indoor & outdoor spaces that were always clean. Staff & trainers are helpful & friendly. They also have a nice shop and allow your dog to sample items.
We are so grateful for our experience at Believe in Dog!! Monty absolutely LOVES going to puppy school and it’s honestly one of his favorite places in the world!! The second he realizes we’re almost there, he gets so excited, and it just makes us so happy to see him so excited to attend Puppy Day school. We the…
Valerie was amazing! This class was perfect for our puppy, Champ! We loved all the things we learned and that Champ learned! It was a great experience all around
Valerie was great. She made the training much more manageable. Thanks for helping Dolly!
I cannot say enough positives about this facility or its people. I wanted to start early puppy training so my GSP started as soon as she met the vaccination requirements around 3 months old and we continued until 8 months. The team worked with her to develop confidence through socialization, communication and…
Finn loves Believe in Dog! And we are grateful for the kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable staff that has helped us navigate the chaos of puppyhood! We have confident that no matter what he was there for - Puppy Day School, Puppy Class Part 1 or Puppy Class Part 2 - that he was getting top of the line…
Love the training classes for puppies. Such great trainers - so knowledgeable and helpful.
We HIGHLY recommend the positive/reward based dog training that Believe in Dog teaches. Their staff and trainers are all WONDERFUL and they have a wealth of resources for their customers! We have two Cane Corsos (100+ pound fully grown) and the philosophy taught by Believe in Dog has worked very well. The training…
Ah, where to start. This place has been the best experience for George, our now 8-month-old mini dachshund. Between the genuine love from the trainers and staff, and the exposure to other puppies and mentor dogs, he is absolutely obsessed, and so are we. George has gained so much confidence since starting here. You…
Oreo attended puppy day school and was a little shy with other dogs in the beginning but now he is more confident, better behaved, and clearly enjoys the training process. Puppy Class Part One also taught me how to practice the basic cues with Oreo on my own time.
If you are looking for help with training your dog, I HIGHLY recommend Stephanie Bennett’s Believe in Dog training! We were feeling so frustrated about behavior issues our 5 year old dog had developed (especially jumping on people to say hi and reactivity towards other dogs). After just one lesson last week with…
Our experience was awesome, there is certanly lots to learn and guidance through it. The fact that they believe in postive reinforcement rather than old school rough teaching makes me feel safer while trainning my pup, Valeria was great with her teaching. I will say this is a method that those require way more…
Can’t recommend BID enough! My pup is always SO excited to go to class and puppy day school. We have both learned so much while also having fun and meeting great people (both other clients and of course the complete staff)! Pedram was our instructor for Puppy Class Part 1, and he was so great with all of the…
My first dog Keeva went here 5 years ago as a puppy. She has become a world competitive disc dog. She is such a balanced dog I have started my second dog there too and at 14 weeks he is already so confident, well balanced and happy. These people do amazing work with puppies in their puppy day school and puppy group classes!!
We enrolled our sweet Aussie pup at Believe in Dog and our experience has been nothing short of incredible! They have given us the tools and confidence we need to help our dog succeed at home and out in the world. Our pup is now a proud graduate of Puppy Day School as well as the beginner and intermediate group…
You can get the same information on how to train your dog on YouTube for free. Parking is terrible in the Heights.
Bolt is our latest Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. He is our 4th puppy to train under Stephanie’s program. Believe in Dog is second to none in puppy education, enrichment and socialization. Bolt is enrolled in Puppy Day School, too, for some extra training and enrichment. Bolt’s puppy school trainer was Pedram. He was…
As a first time Puppy Parent, I was skeptical if I wanted to sign up for classes that will help train my puppy. After browsing through so many different options, I decided to go with Believe in Dog and it’s probably been one of THE best decisions I have ever made. My pup, Remington, just finished Puppy Class Part…
People are great, love my dog and we have learned a lot! We've spent a great deal of time here and the trainers and staff are fabulous
Awesome experience. All the trainers are very knowledgeable and we as dog owners gained valuable skills. I would recommend them to anyone!!!
Our puppy Bingo is OBSESSED with Believe in Dog! From their day school to puppy classes to boutique store, they are the best place to go for training and enrichment. They have the most kind and caring trainers who equip dogs and their humans with the best tools and knowledge to make dogs thrive at home and in the…
We had the best experience in Puppy Class 1 at Believe in Dog! Our trainer, Valerie, was amazing. She was such a great coach to us humans to help us better understand our pup Riley. It was also just fun to watch the pups learn and grow and play together. We will be back for Puppy Class 2.
Believe in Dog is amazing! Megan is such a great trainer -positive, patient and so knowledgeable. The whole team is friendly, helpful, and super professional. Whether you have a new puppy or an older dog, I can't recommend them enough!
Basic manners class with lead trainer Megan was a wonderful and fun experience! She is so patient, attentive, extra loving towards the pups, and makes going to class FUN! All while being extremely personable. Our puppy learned so much, we couldn’t be more grateful. Megan is beyond fun!
We have had such a transformative experience at Believe in Dog. From our first private lesson with Megan through our classes with the BIDT team, we have learned so much about how to build trust and create new experiences for our anxious lil beast. Megan has shown so much enthusiasm and expertise with us and our…
We are so grateful to trainer Valerie and the entire team at Believe in Dog for helping us bring out the very best in our rescue dog, Phoebe. We first started taking classes in September 2024 and have continued taking weekly classes throughout the year. Humans and dogs alike have learnt new skills, grown in…
Every time we walk in Believe in Dog we get renewed hope in making it through puppyhood and adolescence with our huge and continuing to grow German Shepherd. Thank you Believe In Dog!! Rocky and his pawrents love everyone who works there. A BIG SHOUT OUT to Stephanie, Megan and Alyssa. Reactive Rover class has…
Honestly, BIDT has been incredible. I found them online and signed up for Puppy Class 1. I was a little nervous about starting before my pup had all his vaccines, but I’m so glad I didn’t wait. He stayed healthy, had only positive experiences, and learned to socialize with both new puppies and people right away.…
We absolutely love Believe in Dog! Our little Dottie just graduated her second class and we are so looking forward to more sessions. The facility, philosophy and trainers are the best in Houston. These people CARE about dogs - they are my people.
This place is the BEST!! I’ve taken all 3 of my dogs here for multiple classes over the last 2 years. All 3 of my dogs are very different, learn differently, and needed help with different things, but they were all successful here and have turned into amazing and well rounded dogs. Most importantly, I’ve learned how…
We love Believe in Dog! We started our puppy Wabi Sabi in puppy day school and have taken Puppy 1 and 2 classes. We recently wrapped up Intermediate Skills class with Valerie M. She is an amazing teacher and trainer. She uses really great real-world examples, and we always leave the class reassured that we are on…
I recently completed a puppy class with my Giant Schnauzer, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Pedram, our instructor was absolutely fantastic—full of energy and enthusiasm, making every session fun and engaging. From day one, it was clear that the Pedram had a special way with dogs. My puppy absolutely…
Great training program for our puppy. Classes were super interesting and techniques provided work perfectly.
Finally a place that works specifically with reactive dogs in a positive manner. The Reactive Rover course is extremely helpful and beneficial to both the dogs and humans. Not to mention, the value is way better compared to other trainers who provide less guidance.
I've been going to Believe in Dog since I first adopted Penny when she was six months old. When she started developing reactivity behaviors at around a year, it added a ton of stress to our lives. I can't even begin to express how much help the Reactive Rover class has been for us. There's still work to do, but we…
I took my dog Velvet for the typical problems associated with reactivity including lunging and barking towards other dogs, pulling on her leash, and other issues settling down. Stephanie and the whole crew are literally amazing, and offer the perfect balance or teaching you to build a strong relationship with your…
