Believe in Dog is not just good. It is singular.
No one loves dogs more than the people here do, and your dog will love them right back. It’s a common joke in our house that we occupy a comfortable third place on Caper’s list of favorite people, behind his favorite BID trainers. That feels fair. They have poured so much care, attention, and thought into his well-being that it is honestly kind of unbelievable.
They taught Caper everything he knows, but that was probably the easy part. We were first-time dog owners, and they taught us how to be good at that too. They guided us with enormous patience and with a level of competence across the entire staff that is, in itself, a tremendous accomplishment. There was never a sense thatthe quality of the experience depended on getting the “right” trainer or the “right” person that day. Everyone knew what they were doing, everyone cared, and everyone seemed deeply invested in helping both dogs and their anxious humans succeed.
Beyond their obvious love of dogs and seemingly endless knowledge, this may also be the best-run business I have ever seen. Stephanie and Joanna should teach a workshop. Believe in Dog puts the lie to the assumption that consistency requires bland corporate sameness. They have somehow built a place that is highly reliable and professional while still feeling completely human. The facilities are beautiful and, in our experience, absolutely unmatched. The service is consistently excellent. And the individual staff members who make the place special seem genuinely supported in bringing their own talents, judgment, and kindness to the work.
We did puppy school, daycare, and classes here, and every class leader and assistant we worked with was excellent. The staff have an extraordinary combination of talent with dogs and gentleness with the people attached to them. They are truly all so impressive.
We miss Believe in Dog enormously since moving away, and we will always be grateful for what they did for us and for our puppy. They turned the three of us into a proper, inseparable pack. They gave us the ability to communicate across species, to understand and enjoy one another more fully, and somehow made the process of getting there rewarding in its own right.
There is nowhere else quite like this place. Thank you BID!

It is literally impossible to say enough good things about Believe in Dog. Our dog Caper started going to puppy day school when he was just 12 weeks old and continued through graduation and into the daycare program. We also did puppy classes and some other workshops. We absolutely credit Believe in Dog with making Caper into the sweet, friendly, outgoing boy he is today. Puppy day school is not just a daycare, it really is like preschool for your dog. Caper learned socialization, new skills, and had an absolute blast every time. The staff are trainers who really understand dogs, and Caper’s days were packed with activities, training, and supervised playtime. We are first time dog owners, and it was so comforting to have the trainers’ support every step of the way. The staff at Believe in Dog were patient with all our questions and are clearly incredibly invested in all of the dogs they help care for. It is definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay for and for us it was 100% worth it. A special shout out to Mar, Jae, Ashley, and Joanna who all showered Caper in love. I am 100% confident that no other dog daycare will ever compare. We recently moved out of Houston but otherwise Caper would still be a regular. We miss Believe in Dog every day!

I unexpectedly rescued two dogs from the street at separate times within a year from each other! Taking both of them to doggie class at BID has truly been the best experience for all of us. With the stresses of life, I love going to school with each of my dogs since it also allows me to have a brain break:) I quickly discovered my dogs are total opposites and have very different training needs. My first rescue Kleo developed some reactivity towards other dogs. Having the exposure to other dogs and having the tools to deal with difficult situations has helped immensely. My second rescue Kaiser is much more reserved, shy, and anxious. He has gained a lot of confidence and now has many outlets to deal with his anxiety. After having taken just about every class they offer, I am much more educated about how my dogs behave and think. I feel much more equipped to handle my dogs in overwhelming situations. The trainers and staff here are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and will go above and beyond to help in any way they can. Huge shoutout and gratitude to our trainers Stephanie, Megan, Pedram, Valerie, Kate, Alyssa, and Ashley as well as all the other staff behind the front desk/behind the scenes that have helped us along in our journey:) If you’ve been struggling or just want have some fun activities to do with your dog, take a class and experience BID for yourself. Reactive Rover Class -
We had such a great experience with the Reactive Rover class! When we started the class, Mullen was reactive toward people, and I wasn’t always sure how to help him feel more confident in those situations. This class taught us so much about understanding his body language, recognizing his threshold, and giving him the tools to make better choices.
What I appreciated most was that his progress was achieved entirely through positive reinforcement. There was no punishment or forcing him into uncomfortable situations. Instead, we learned how to work at his pace, build his confidence, and reinforce the behaviors we wanted to see. It made such a difference for both Mullen and me.
Our trainers were patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping both the dogs and their humans succeed. We are so proud of how far Mullen has come and feel much more confident continuing his training. I would absolutely recommend Reactive Rover to anyone working through reactivity with their dog!

Believe in dog (BID) has done so much for me and my dogs! My dogs Rocky and Moose have both struggled with different levels of fear with strangers. It was really hard for me emotionally to see them struggle and not know how to help them. We went in circles trying different training methods. Thankfully, BID has taught us the importance of positive reinforcement. BID has become a safe space for us and it makes me so happy to see Moose flourish with the help of his trainers.
Rocky is next to begin his training here, and he has already benefitted from everything the trainers have taught me and the online resources they have to offer for fear reactive dogs!
A huge shoutout to Alyssa, Megan, Valerie, and Jae for playing a huge roll in teaching me how to manage my crazy Moose who started off as a shy puppy and is now a super energetic and friendly teen. Their passion doesn’t go unnoticed and we are so lucky to have found them for our pups. Don’t hesitate in trusting them to teach you how to use positive reinforcement to build confidence in your dog and strengthen your connection!
What we booked:
- Puppy day school: This program helped him so much through his fear period (major stranger danger). He did so well with socializing when I was worried he wouldn’t, everyone here rocks! :,)
Group classes: These classes are helping him learn to stay calm and focused around distractions (people, other dogs, etc..) while he learns new skills. The classes also help me learn from the trainers! Every trainer has been a dream to work with. Below are the classes we’ve attended.
