I highly recommend Attorney Rhodeman for family law matters. I first met with her when I was preparing to file for joint custody, and she helped me understand the process and prepare the initial paperwork. When a later dispute arose involving my son’s school placement, I returned to her because she was already familiar with the history of my case. She was able to quickly understand the new issues, give me honest and practical advice, and develop a clear strategy for working with the Guardian ad Litem and preparing for trial. She was responsive, organized, and thorough, and I always felt that she understood both the legal issues and what I was trying to accomplish for my son. The Guardian ad Litem ultimately agreed with the position presented in my motion, and the court adopted that recommendation. Attorney Rhodeman’s preparation, communication, and knowledge of family law helped bring the matter to a successful resolution. I am extremely grateful for her representation and would confidently recommend her to anyone dealing with a difficult custody or placement issue.

Attorney Ellen Rhodeman was absolutely amazing to work with. She guided me through a very high-conflict custody case with professionalism, clarity, and genuine care. After a negative experience with a previous lawyer, it was difficult for me to trust again—but Ellen didn’t ask for blind trust, she earned it through her actions, knowledge, and results. She is incredibly thorough, highly knowledgeable, and truly skilled at applying the law to protect what matters most. Beyond that, she taught me valuable skills that I will carry with me long after my case. Custody situations can be emotional and overwhelming, but she helped me stay calm and confident by clearly explaining every step of the process. I was never left in the dark. She is honest, compassionate, and always prioritizes her clients’ best interests—especially when it comes to children. I trusted her to do right by my daughter, and she absolutely delivered. Lea was hands down the greatest attorney I could have asked to have appointed to my case. I had a nearly 3 year long case and Lea was always very transparent about expectations and explained everything to me every step of the way. I genuinely felt as though she cared about myself and my daughter through it all and I am so grateful for her guidance and representation. Even when she had maternity leave, she had another attorney take over and was thorough in passing off my case weeks in advance. The finance department was easy to deal with as well.
