Thank you for your feedback. We completely understand your concern about the weeds in your lawn. Since you started service with us in March, we were only able to get one pre-emergent application down before the main growing season. Pre-emergent works like a barrier in the soil that helps stop new weeds before they grow. For the best weed prevention, that barrier needs to be built and maintained with properly timed applications throughout the year. The treatments we applied over the summer help control weeds that are already growing, but they cannot completely make up for the earlier pre-emergent applications that were missed before you started service. Getting a lawn under control takes time, especially during the first year of a lawn care program. As we continue treating the lawn and get all of the scheduled applications down, you should see fewer weeds and better results. Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with the progress of your lawn. After reviewing your service history, your lawn has received three treatments so far this season, with service beginning in March. Because the program started after the ideal pre-emergent window, we were only able to apply one pre-emergent treatment this year. Unfortunately, that can allow additional weeds to germinate throughout the growing season, especially in areas where the turf is thin. The weeds shown in the photos are also growing in areas where the grass is sparse. Healthy, dense turf is one of the best natural defenses against weeds, so when there are thin or bare spots, weeds have more opportunity to establish. Some weed varieties are also more mature and require multiple treatments to achieve full control—they are not eliminated with a single application. It's also important to understand that transforming a thin, weed-filled lawn into a thick, healthy, weed-free lawn is a process that takes time. While every lawn is different, the first year of a professional lawn care program is typically focused on reducing the existing weed population, preventing new weeds from germinating, and creating the conditions for healthier turf to fill in. Lawns that have struggled with weeds for years unfortunately don't become weed-free after only a few applications. We understand the frustration with the delay in getting your follow-up application completed, and we appreciate your patience. Our goal is always to respond as quickly as possible while ensuring applications are made under the proper conditions for the best possible results.
