Customers frequently highlight the store's friendly staff, organized layout, and helpful service, including free local delivery and special orders. While many note the high quality of pet supplies, some mention that prices are higher than competitors and the selection for dogs is limited. A recurring criticism involves perceived rudeness from staff and issues with interpreting international vaccination records during boarding.

I thought I was going to receive a welcoming staff . But the guy in the gray shirt and dark gray hat , white guy , made feel like if I was going to steal something. It was so wierd. Didn’t feel genuine. Probably cuz I was wearing a hat and sunglasses. Never coming here again.
Seriously do not know what I’d do without this store. Out orange tabby, Mango, loves it here and always likes to say hello to the staff. They are always so nice to him, especially Amanda and Lavelle. Highly recommend if you are a pet parent!
Teddy loves his DragDog from Tailwaggers! Such a great store. The owner was so kind and friendly. He went out of his way to make our dog feel welcomed. Definitely will be coming back! Thank you again 🫶🏼
I visited the Fairfax Tailwaggers on Saturday night in search of a specific product. It wasn’t in stock, but the staff was very helpful in discussing my needs, offering to special order, and ultimately, calling the Larchmont location to secure what I needed and make sure they had it set aside for me. Everyone (at…

Awesome dog adoption event with dog coalition of LA, and Farmer's market
Tailwaggers on Larchmont is just the sweetest pet store, with the kindest staff and the most spectacular selection of goodies for our furry family members. It’s one of those places that makes you smile the moment you walk through the door. My dog absolutely LOVES coming here. She gets treated like an absolute queen, and she has the best time sniffing her way around the store, exploring all the treats and toys. The staff are genuinely wonderful and make every visit feel special. They also have the most adorable birthday section, which is perfect if you’re looking to spoil your pup on their special day. And can we talk about how wonderful it is that they offer free parking for customers? Such a thoughtful touch, especially in Larchmont! But what I love most is that they’re genuinely good people. They’re always hosting adoption events and doing their part to help animals find loving homes. You can tell this is a business run by people who truly care about animals and the neighborhood. Fantastic selection, exceptional staff, and so much heart. Tailwaggers is everything a neighborhood pet store should be. I absolutely adore them and couldn’t recommend them more!

It wasn’t in stock, but the staff was very helpful in discussing my needs, offering to special order, and ultimately, calling the Larchmont location to secure what I needed and make sure they had it set aside for me. Everyone (at both locations) was very helpful and kind.. I’m so grateful to have Tailwaggers as my neighborhood pet stores!

Very little selection for dogs and over priced
This store is well-stocked and they are always happy to order something for you if they don't have it in store. I especially appreciate that they deliver for free within 5(?) miles. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly, and I especially want to shout out Christian, who went out of his way to help me load a large bag of dog food into my car that was parked away from their lot. Never had a bad experience here!
Thanks, Jein! Providing helpful customer service to our local community is something we take a lot of pride in 💪 ...this goes for all of our locations, Palm Springs and 3 neighborhoods in LA! Once again, we really appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback (and for shopping local!) 🐾
