7/30/26 on our way to GR via Mammoth Caves (from Clearwater) At least one broken charger. Love Buc-ees!
- Status: Successful charge
- Connector type: Tesla
- Wait time: No wait
- Finding the charger: Very easy

Reviewers highlight the convenient location at a Buc-ee’s, fast charging speeds, and built-in CCS adapters for non-Tesla vehicles. The station is noted for its ease of access and available amenities during charging sessions. A recurring criticism involves drivers blocking multiple chargers when lines form, which frustrates other users. Some reviewers also mention that cables can be short, requiring creative parking, and that specific instructions for retrieving adapters are not clearly posted on the equipment.

The store is nice and the location is easy to get to, but unfortunately Buc-ee’s doesn’t care about selfish drivers blocking multiple chargers when there’s a line. People like this should have their Supercharger access revoked.
Excellent charging experience. This Supercharger is located at a busy Buc-ee’s, but there were still several chargers available when I arrived. A couple of stalls were out of service, but they were accurately marked in the app, so there were no surprises. Charging speeds were impressive. I saw rates as high as 400…
Charged our Rivian R1S from 9:50-10:50pm on a Wednesday evening. We were the only car charging. Took exactly 1 hour to go from 33% to 100% (133 miles to 410 miles). Cost $50.08. We do not have a monthly non-Tesla membership. We felt it was super fast, easy to get in and out. Checked out Buc-ees while we waited. Excellent charger.
It gets the job done but nowhere does it tell you to hold the button down to get the CCS adapter. Thankfully a couple of techs were there working on stations and between the two of us we got one to come out of three stations. Works fine once you actually get the thing out. Albeit the cables are extremely short so…
The magic dock on 1D didn't release but I was able to use my own adapter without issue. Charging was fast and at Bucees so everything you need is right there.

A couple of stalls were out of service, but they were accurately marked in the app, so there were no surprises. Charging speeds were impressive. I saw rates as high as 400 mi/hr and it stayed around 350 mi/hr for most of the session. The charger connected quickly and worked exactly as expected. No complaints at all. Reliable, fast, and convenient. I would stop here again without hesitation.

Albeit the cables are extremely short so you might need to creatively park to get it to reach. Price per kwh is higher than I'd like but are lower than non-tesla chargers. Go figure.

Great place to stop and charge. Cables are plenty long to charge non-teslas. Ford Lightning charged great. I use it often when going to Bowling Green, KY. Extremely convenient on/off the interstate.
Charged my Hyundai using the CCS adapter that is available on the Tesla charger. Hold the button on the charger for a couple seconds and listen for the click so you know the adaptor is on before pulling the charger out of the holder. I also had to create an account to use the charger. After that it was all seamless and it’s so nice to have a Buc-ee’s to spend my time while charging. I appreciate the well lit parking lot and people walking around, especially when I’m there by myself and at night. Not all charging stations are like that, and as a woman I appreciate feeling safe while charging my car.
16 SC’s. Fast 250 KW. At Bucee’s so nice restrooms.
