Texas Tree Legends is owned and operated by Jeremy Peña, a young man who knows trees. I recently received two other bids for the removal of dead pine trees on our Santa Fe property. One was twice as much as Jeremy's, the other almost as inflated, and the guy pressured me to pay him for 'pine borer treatment' for adjacent trees (about a year too late and completely useless) in addition to the removal. Jeremy's bids are fair and affordable. He has the necessary insurance to assume liability for damages (with paperwork), which so many tree removal companies do not, and he has the skill based on years of tree work to avoid damages in the first place. It was a pleasure having Jeremy and his small crew on the property. They were polite with each other and with me. They were fast but not hurried, and left everything neat. We have a lot of trees on our acre and have needed removal of several over the years, and I can tell you from experience, this is an exceptional local company.
