Luis did a wonderful job he explained everything in a way that I could understand easily.
Old system was too expensive to repair. The techs that performed the replacement worked hard all day to get it completed. Installation has worked flawlessly! 7/13/2026: Our AC system continues to work flawlessly and will be up for its annual maintenance soon. Regarding their plumbing services, they recently worked…
Luis came out and fixed everything! Air conditioners cost alot so you want to be confident about the quality of your equipment, how it's installed, and how it's maintained. The Comfort Authority delivers on all 3 of these issues and they made the purchase of my new AC an easy and seamless experience from start to finish.
I highly recommend this company!!! Came out did a/c review. Explained everything in easy to understand format. Everyone was super nice and professional. No pressure to purchase add-ons, and next day install only took 1 day. They handled everything, from finding financing to getting permits. I would recommend the…
After getting estimates from 3 other companies, who spent an average 30 minutes, and could not address my needs, I decided to further explore highly rated air conditioner companies, and came across The Comfort Authority. They lived up to their great reviews, from the initial contact phone call all the way to the…
My experience with The Comfort Authority was nothing but positive from beginning to end. My AC unit was unusually loud after a year and a half of moving into my new home. As a first-time homeowner, I was unsure who to call but after reading so many positive reviews on this company, I gave them a call and I'm glad I…

Edit 9/10/2025: Back again! For the past few years I have been a Comfort Authority "Comfort Plan" member and have received quite a few perks of the membership. Today might have been one of the BEST perks of all - a simple, honest walkthrough of my whole home to show me tips and tricks to keep my house at a…
Comfort Authority certainly lives up to its name. Having installed my A/C four years ago, their ongoing service continues to boast excellence. After my compressor just stopped working, Rick spent a few hours sleuthing all the circuitry to track down an illusive wire deep inside the unit hidden from view that had…
Ryan did a great job replacing our toilet valve. Fast, professional, and pleasant!
Glenn was awesome. Professional service provided, explained the situation and what he was going to do to resolve it. Always great service from The Comfort Authority
It was time for my annual service so I arranged for the Comfort Authority to come out and check out the system. The entire process from arranging the service to the notification messages was skillfully handled and efficient. Raymond the service tech who came out to inspect the system was friendly, knowledgeable and…
This is the 2 nd time I’ve used this company. Consistently prompt, friendly and professional. Peter repaired the duct work and was wonderful. Claude was the tech who came this time and was so nice and informative. Than you
We were new to Florida so we had no idea who the reputable contractors were for AC maintenance. The reviews online included enough narrative that I decided to give them a try. Overall experience has been extremely positive.
Sean did a awesome job. Would highly recommend
Chase came to alleviate a/c issue and did a great job as he was timely in response, professional, cordial, educational, and knew his craft well..My mom and myself were very pleased as he did a great job. Would recommend for sure. They were fast to respond and did a great job installing. Sales rep was great and installers were all friendly and professional.
The original installation was great and the first service call was fast and excellent. Susie knew her stuff and got right to the heart of the issue. She showed me what she had to do to get my unit running properly and sold me on a preventative maintenance plan that would have caught this issue earlier. Wonderful…
Eric Winegardner was Very nice and very professional. We have been with The comfort Authority and Steve Cox since they started their business. We have always been very happy with everyone connected with this business.
Have been using Comfort Authority for years for HVAC needs was happy to see they opened a plumbing side of the house! Always professional and knowledgeable, and offered a complimentary inspection of my plumbing so we could add a baseline of needs to my account.

Peter and team were professional, efficient and kept the area clean. The air is cool and crisp. I am delighted with the service.
Romeo inspected a vent mildew problem on 8/21/23. Discovered a temperature discrepancy and caulked the boot to the vent. He looked through the system for what caused the problem as well as showing me a way to use my AC more efficiently. He was very pleasant to work with. Thank you! Chase Prather was here 12/9/22…

Excellent service, great system installed and very happy with their service and product. We had an ac system and complete ductwork installed and now being maintained. Highly recommend.
Best AC company around. I’ve learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. They have replaced 4 “bargain” HVAC systems for us on our home and rental properties. If you’re looking for great products, responsive, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and quality installation and repair, this is your company.
We replaced our home AC unit JAN 4, 2021. I was very impressed with the care they took to lay out floor coverings and carpet runners to make sure they did not track any dirt through our home. Peter and his installation crew were polite, proficient and detail oriented. Comfort Authority was rated very highly on the…
From start to finish it was a great process. They were able to fit us in quickly, were timely to all appointments. I appreciate that they send you an email with details about your technician and a picture of your technician. They put down mats so they didn’t mess up my floors and left my home as clean as they found it. I would highly recommend them.
The technicians were timely and the install was done efficiently with an appropriate start and end time. The house didn’t even get warm during the exchange given their efficiencies. Derek the sales representative was timely in the initial call, brief in explanation and answered our initial and follow up questions.…
Fantastic company. Claude, the tech that came to do our yearly maintenance was one of the nicest guys. Zero problems with the A/C system since the install last year. Highly recommend.
Ina time when all of America is dealing with "supply chain shortages" The comfort authority was able to install a new AC in my 84 year old mom's home. I called 3 different companies for estimates & diagnosis with no success. These guys saved the day! And Derek, the sales guy was very information, personable, and no into hard sales. Thank you!
By far the most fair quite for ac in the entire Tampa area. They send you a bio of who is exactly coming out so you know who they are and they are very friendly and professional would recommend to anybody.
