Full disclosure: please do not listen to positive reviews, that does not translate into someone providing a good service/product.
This was actually the worst photo session I’ve ever experienced. First of all, right when my young family arrived, my first babies Christmas, this woman had the audacity to time us. We were on a 15 MINUTE TIMER, completely demoralizing the entire personal beautiful experience photography is. These people push you in and right out, like the McDonald’s of photography but not with the prices. She’s extremely over priced for the bad service that they provide. It was SO RUSH; pushed my entire family out in less than 20 minutes. Not only that, the photos are horrible. The lighting is terrible, everyone looks bad in most of the photos honestly if not all. This cost me $300.00. So then they send you the photos like a week later and if you don’t approve the least terrible out of what they took they lock you out and charge you even more if it’s not done within a week from it being sent. I chose my 5 least horrible out of all the bad photos within a week and I just thought I could access my gallery later - yeah now I’m locked out. Even though I meant the time constraint. I am so perplexed how these people have endless good reviews. Not only was the experience so de-personalized and quite frankly, rude, my photos look terrible.
I will be contacting the BBB. I will blast them as much as possible online to save families from spending money like I did on horrible photos and horrible service. Family photos are suppose to be a beautiful experience, it’s suppose to be calming, loving and a personal event. This was none of that, they should be ashamed to call themself a photography service. This is not a disgruntled customer either; this is straight from the heart with no disrespect. I would never have the nerve to conduct myself as such & they actually TIMED US. Immediately when we stepped foot in the timer was pressed and we were continually reminded of the minutes we had left. Truly sad.
**********Updating my review from 2 years later. I paid $300 for this and I still never was able to obtain my photos. Feels like theft. I can’t believe these people have such good reviews it’s insane. They took Christmas photos in their janky garage and the lighting is absolutely terrible, there’s zero artistry.

Hi Julie,
Updated September 2026:
Since this review has been updated nearly two years after the original situation, I feel it is important to clarify the facts once again for anyone reading it today. Our records confirm that the completed digital images from this session were successfully downloaded from the client's gallery on two separate occasions.
At no point prior to the original public review was I contacted and given an opportunity to address any concern regarding access to the images.
Regarding the comments about our studio, this session took place in our previous seasonal studio space. Since then, we have built and opened a brand-new photography studio, which has welcomed more than 100 families for Christmas sessions in 2025 alone.
After over 16 years in business, I stand behind the care I provide to my clients and always welcome the opportunity to address genuine concerns directly. I sincerely wish this client and her family the best.
I'm so sorry you felt this way about your beautiful Christmas photoshoot. Especially after I happily had opened up a few last minute spots for families while rescheduling other sick clients from our 3 prior weekends, the afternoon before Thanksgiving. I was so happy to give you the opportunity to experience our 9th season of Christmas magic, as so many families before you have found our custom created scenes, efficient and thought out process, and beautiful photography a priority of their Christmas season.
I'm also sorry that you found it most productive to take to Google before communicating with me directly (other than the 3 emails and phone call you made in 20-minute period at 7:00pm last night outside of business hours, demanding a response) that you were anything other than pleased with your session, photos, and experience. My husband even commented that during your private 10 minute viewing of the gallery, after your 15-minute mini session, that you mentioned being excited to send the photos to your family. The entire process of what comes next was reviewed and clarified at that time. At no time was there any mention of dissatisfaction, and your 2 beautiful children left happy with personally packaged cookies on their way out. I apologize if some of the snow we had so much fun blowing with your older daughter made its way into the room and seemed “messy”!
Yes, our mini sessions specifically are timed to ensure that everyone who has paid for a time slot receives their full time and sessions stay revolving with minimal waiting, but more than that, it’s to ensure the many customized activities we plan to do with our clients that are unique are able to be enjoyed as much as possible. Clients are absolutely always able to book a longer, more private appointment at any time. Session length, image quality, set design, lighting, and pricing are all consistent and posted on my website when you booked.
I had so many personal favorites from your gallery, and I enjoyed going through them to create a beautiful final product. All galleries were delivered in the promised time frame the following Wednesday with a 2nd review of instructions how to choose, select, and download photos in a 1 week period of time. Seeing that the zip file link was clicked to download by you, twice, on 12/4, 2 days before the gallery expired (with reminders), and no communication from you with any issues, your package was fulfilled.
While my 15+ years of experience behind the lens does make me an incredible photographer, well worth the $275 mini session fee you paid for, it doesn't make me a mind-reader. Perhaps you thought my experience was worth leaving a 1-star review, 2 weeks before Christmas, after receiving exactly what you paid for. But it seems, based on the other 14 1-star reviews you’ve left for other small businesses after receiving a higher end service, that you take pride in doing this, which is so sad to see for hard working, local, family run businesses.
