25 year customer. The Service Tech was beyond amazing and probably the only reason I will stay using Thornton & Grooms. Their pricing has reached the point of absurd. Based on the hours and parts involved they are doubling what the cost should be. My 5 stars is for the most professional tech I have ever dealt with.

Chip was very nice, personable, knowledgeable, and supportive. Being told you need a new furnace three days before thanksgiving at the tune of $9000 was not ideal but Chip helped us through all our options and made us feel comfortable with our decisions. Very satisfied.

They recommended adding an electric device to boost startup to make A/C unit last longer. I did have them add the device. I was not pressured, though. They are very responsive. Once, they had to come in the middle of the night when I had no heat. I always have them out twice a year.

Lavian was a great representative. Very thoughtful and professional. The communication between phone reps and customers is the only lacking thing with this company. Called and left messages 3 times to talk about service before rep came out and got no return call.

Dan arrived for the service call with a 30 minute notice. Inspected our A/clC unit and found the problem. We gave him our concerns and he took care of the problem and cleaned up all the mess around the furnace.

Bought a new heating and cooling system 15 months ago. After an AC check up today, they want me to spend $500-1,100 to get parts fixed. What??? I should have kept my last unit. I’m totally floored that I was sold this system ($12,500) and a year later it’s a piece of junk. Will take my business elsewhere from now on.

DO NOT USE! Currently painting basement floor from my 9 month old humidifier and furnace busting after poor installment. They overcharge, tack on a service agreement which i never asked for and take advantage of those in desperate need. Furnace installment was a mess. They’re not responsive unless they can make money off of you.

The technicians were able to diagnose what I feel must be a very atypical problem. Power was going to the furnace but it wasn't responding to it. Turns out the last company wired the furnace's surge protector wrong. Now it works great! Very happy with the techs, the response time (same day) and the price.

Called mid-afternoon Friday and they made an appointment for first thing Saturday morning. Arrive on time. Matt got furnace started and then located the cause of sensor issue ..a blocked drain hose. Most technicians would have left immediately after getting furnace started, but Matt made certain that the true root cause was resolved.

Matt came to assess my heating issue and fixed the issue with new parts, he was very responsive and made sure he called me and check in a day or two to make sure it is working. Very nice experience.

We had a gas leak. Mr. Gulley was very thorough and guided up appropriately and efficiently.

Jason was awesome! Super friendly and personable! Fixed our issue with our heating system fairly quickly, and he checked to make sure it would run smoothly again after turning the thermostat on and off so we wouldn't have any issues with it after he'd left. This company and its employees are fantastic and professional with the services provided!

Dave Busard showed up right on time. He knows exactly what is going on with the furnace and went straight to fixing it. He fixed and clean it in no time and made sure there are nothing else is going on. Very happy with Dave's professionalism. He kept his Mask all the time and kept the area clean. Above and beyond.

We have used Thornton and Grooms for all of our HVAC and plumbing issues since buying our house three years ago (and there have been a LOT of issues) and they have always been great to work with. Their prices are a little higher than most, but in our opinion, absolutely worth it.
