It's hard to describe how unhappy and anxious you are when you're sewage backs up into your downstairs shower and it's Labor Day weekend. I called Thornton and Grooms and left a message that we had an emergency and we'd like some help. I didn't know if we were going to have to spend the weekend in a hotel or what… Read full review

Through inspection of plumbing areas. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Great costumer service and well trained technician! I would definitely recommend this company to everyone for there professional AC service. Thanks again Steve , well done!

Anthony was very respectful and cleaned out my line to the street. For the price of $99 I was told that my line would be cleaned out and a camera inspection would be done. Anthony does not do this service. The camera service was not done, I was told I had to make another appointment for this. But still had to pay the $99.

Mike was very professional & took care of our issue quickly.

Jeremy was professional, prompt and friendly. Explained what he was doing and found the problem right away. Highly recommend.

Billy and Stephanie did a great job! Very communicative upon their arrival and called to let us know the progress of the repair and cleaning, very personable and knowledgeable.

I have had a series of plumbing issues lately, starting with a slow shower drain that identified significant rust scaling in my 48 year old cast iron pipes that led to a descaling and flushing. The descaling revealed a series of openings in the bottom of the lead from the kitchen. Ultimately the basement needed to… Read full review

I’ve now had multiple positive experiences - Between quick, easy and flexible scheduling to the services being complete with quality, I’d highly recommend going with Thornton & Grooms.

Zach was terrific very knowledgeable and personable

Tree roots got into my sewer pipe. T&G was excellent. I cannot have experienced a better outcome. Jerame removed 1 sidewalk piece, dug up the sewer line, then Greg, Chris, and Jared repaired the sewer line and supported the pipe before Jerame filled the area back in. Jerame packed the ground as he filled it with the… Read full review

Love this company!!! They are always helpful and friendly. Technicians are well qualified, professional and friendly.

Called Thornton & Grooms for an estimate for a backwater valve. They charged for the estimate but the estimate included a sewer line scope. They found major root build up that other inspectors and plumbers had somehow missed. They were very professional and informative.

Darrin was through and answered all of my questions about our sewer back up. He snaked our line, identified some potential issues and set us up with next steps. Highly recommend!

The work performed was done efficiently and work site was cleaned up afterwards. Billy was courteous and explained everything thoroughly.

Did great job very happy with results.

Written in approximately 2017 --- I am thrilled with my experience with Thornton and Grooms...all 20+ times they've been out over the years. They absolutely have a knack for hiring the perfect service technicians. Bill Richards is our go-to guy for plumbing and Will Walker for HVAC. We've had others come out, and… Read full review

Today Billy Tarolli was at my house. He repaired our plumbing problem (with a helper) and they did a fine job. Left the area clean. I agree T&G is pricey but they stand by their work and make sure everything they do is done correctly with a warranty. Part of his job was done 6 years ago, so I didn’t have to pay a… Read full review

Nick took the time to fully understand my issues that I had with thermostat. Performed a detailed maintenance check on the furnace. Highly recommend this Tech and company.Thank you!

Stephanie was great. She is knowledgeable, a good worker, and communicated well.

Anthony, is a real knowledgeable, true professional. He did a fantastic job of assessing my issues and giving me clear options. I don't know if the price I paid was high or low. It didn't make a difference because the service was well worth it.

Super professional! Had the issue nobody wants, digging up the basement floor to fix water backing up in the basement. It’s a bad thing to happen, but Thornton & Grooms sent out experts, I’m very impressed.

Efficient, fast knowledgeable!

Thornton & Grooms has become so disappointing. I think their technicians are now much more skilled in high pressure sales tactics than the actual repair/maintenance work (which has really gone down in quality). I'm changing my rating to just barely one star. Back in 2020, I moved into a new home just as the… Read full review

Dan came to my house to perform the yearly Furnace safety check. So glad I had it done. Found a leak that caused some damage to the motor. The part is still under warranty so having it replaced. Zack answered our questions and was very helpful and patient in finishing up our week long project. We were very happy with the results and are glad to be a referral source when the opportunity arises.

Did a good job. Was courteous and well mannered so was Joe. Might I offer a bit of constructive criticism though. With the price of everything and people not respective of our natural resources I think there needs to be a way to not drain their big tank of water that I pay for down the drain literally. They probably… Read full review

Had a nasty sewer backup. Thornton and Grooms sent two of their top men to help. First up, Brandon Flowers, Drain tech. And then Joe Fuhrman, drain specialist. Both PROfessionals! I want to give more starts, but 5 is the max. Seriously with all of the plumbing related issues that our "new" (to us - built in the 1940's) house has given us we really needed a company willing to work with us. We had multiple repairmen come to our house, Mike, Cody, Colin, John, Austin...all of them went above and beyond in working hard to locate the problem and get our septic working again. I would definitely recommend them and call them again.
