I recently closed a transaction involving two residential building lots in Middleton, Idaho. The lots, although part of an established subdivision, required a number of issues to be resolved prior to sale. A zoning change made it necessary to apply for a Variance as well as a Lot-Line-Adjustment and conduct a new Survey of the property. Fortunately, Tim Burroughs of Silvercreek Realty Group was referred to me by a friend, due to his expertise in Residential Real Estate, (30+) years, and his background in Land Appraisal. Tim's professional relationships with City and County personnel and his knowledge of the process proved invaluable. Once all Planning and Zoning approvals were issued, the lots were listed and sold together within a few short weeks. Rodney, it was a pleasure to work with you. I know it took over a year for the ground work, but once we had two legal lots, due to my advance work in making builders aware of our offering, we were able to get two offers within 24 hours and decide on one and counter them to a higher bid and make it good for you. Then, we followed through and got it closed and funded in the same month we listed them. The teamwork we had with you, and Ross Nelson, and Pioneer Title in Caldwell was the best. Outstanding Support by Tim, prior, during, and after the sale. We were nervous about moving from Idaho Falls, to the big city of Boise and Meridian. Tim was our broker at least a year before we actually bought a house through him. He knew what we wanted, and he guided us to many places that would have worked. But we were not ready to move, because of work and an upcoming retirement. Tim found us the perfect location at the perfect time. After the sale, we have used Tim as a huge resource for finding the right people to do the best job, as we have needed services, over the last 10 years. He is a huge resource.
