I contracted to have 2 mango trees trimmed. One in my front yard and one in the back yard. The front yard tree was done OK. The back yard tree was BUTCHERED! It was cut back so drastically that it provides almost no shade. I had 6 orchid plants that were shaded by the tree that had to be moved to a different…

These guys are are best in the business. Work was professional, they moved quickly and left the place clean. Highly recommend them!
Great company overall—just be sure to inspect before they wrap up!
> We have used Tree Jaws in the past and they are truly a great company that is very easy to work with! Overall, they do quality work—they did a fantastic job trimming our black olive tree back away from the roof, and one of our three sable palms looks absolutely wonderful.
> We were just a bit disappointed with a few details this time around:
> Sable Palms & Cleanup: While one palm turned out great, the other two looked a bit unfinished, and I had to point out bottom boots that were missed so they could come back and clean them up. Afterwards, my husband and I had to spend quite a bit of time raking up debris and filled about a bin and a half that was left behind.
> Black Olive Detail Work: After trimming back the roof line, a few small interior branches were left in the tree. When I asked about cleaning them out, they let us know the tools were already packed away.
> Summary & Recommendation:
> Tree Jaws is a friendly, reliable company that we would still recommend! Our main suggestion for fellow homeowners is simply to do a quick final walkthrough while the crew is on-site to ensure every last detail you paid for is fully completed before they leave for the day.

I contracted to have 2 mango trees trimmed. One in my front yard and one in the back yard. The front yard tree was done OK. The back yard tree was BUTCHERED! It was cut back so drastically that it provides almost no shade. I had 6 orchid plants that were shaded by the tree that had to be moved to a different location. I contracted for a 25% to 30% trimming but this was way too much! I am not happy about how this turned out.
Response from the owner · 5 days ago
Hi Herb, I’m sorry you weren’t happy with our trimming work. I’ll personally look into why the tree in the back was left overgrown and review what happened with our crew. That’s unacceptable to us and falls short of the quality we expect.
We take our clients’ reviews and comments seriously and use that feedback to improve. We’ll continue educating our staff on proper pruning practices in line with ISA guidelines to help prevent this from happening again. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

They did a really awesome job removing a giant Royal poinciana that was very dangerous (touching power lines as well as hanging over the sidewalk and my neighbor's driveway) as well as another tree that was pressed right on my chain link fence. They hardly touched any of the landscape that was literally right there underneath the tree and they were really careful to clean up the streets and everything. There was no damage to my property which I really appreciate. They fully grinded the stumps and you can't even tell that the trees were there. They are very professional, polite, and efficient with competitive pricing.

We appreciate this terrific review, Hope! Thank you for choosing Tree Jaws. We are glad our team could safely remove those trees while protecting your landscape and fence. We take great pride in our clean-up and professional service, and we’re thrilled you were happy with the results. Thank you for your recommendation!
